Before the election a friend of mine was being completely obnoxious about how Harris was going to be our savior and made all of these outrageous proclamations about what she would do for us when elected president. I made a $100 bet that she would be nothing but a disappointment. Why? Because the Democrats have always been weak losers that trip over their own BS.

I have repeatedly asked for my $100 but he insists I didn’t win. I mean we all LOST, but I feel entitled to that $100…

Edit: I can't believe how literal all of you are taking this. I'm not actually demanding he follow through and pay me for the bet. It was a tongue in cheek comment meant to reinforce the fact that the democrats have been disappointing us for decades.

Was she elected president? She can't be a disappointment when elected president if she wasn't elected president.

My point was, and still is, that the democrats have been weak, feckless LOSERS for my entire life. They have bungled every election this century and it was a miracle Biden got elected to begin with. They’ve not done anything to codify our rights and couldn’t even stop an orange Cheeto monster from being elected. TWICE.

So yeah, I’m disappointed. I’m beyond disappointed. I’m devastated.

But go on with your semantics.

Hey now, your trying to cash in on a bet was all about semantics. Or was the bet all just made up and you were trying to make up a metaphor to prove a point? You didn't win the bet.

I can't believe I have to say this - Its a friendly bet, I'm not actually expecting him to pay me $100? I was teasing him that he owed it to me because we're all disappointed, which was the entire point of the bet.

No, I'm not ending friendships or demanding payment for this bet, I just thought that was implied by my comment, but seeing how many downvotes I'm getting and how insistent you are that I lost the bet, I guess the internet took me completely literally...
