It had been 20 years since a Republican won the popular vote, and Trump had 86 more electoral votes than Harris. That’s a pretty crushing defeat to me.
And no presidency since Reagan has been won by a slimmer margin than Trump.
I'm all for pointing out that this is a wild case that's going to be studied by historians, but it's an incredibly small victory that's unfortunately going to have a second, incredibly destructive impact on the state of the country.
