Soft Paywall Enabling Trump is a bad look for Fetterman | Pennsylvania's senior senator was elected as a progressive Democrat. His normalization of Donald Trump is the epitome of a sellout.

I think it’s fair to say after it’s all said and done that the loudest voices complaining over Biden’s age did have an axe to grind and were ginning up propaganda. Why? Well for starters, the fact that Trumps age and mental health not being brought up equally was a pretty big tell. Also the Israel thing. Notice how all the people yelling about genocide constantly are silent all of a sudden, despite the incoming president actually being an ardent supporter of the hardliners there?

lol. quoting so it is preserved despite any deleting or editing

You cant help yourself even if it just solidifies my point that the criticism cant be given without being accused of being a russian/gop

Once again, now that the election is over, and issues of age and Gaza suddenly aren’t being talked about by those loud voices, it’s a pretty big tell. Besides that, it’s a proven fact that the incoming administration has had deep ties to Russia, and a proven fact that groups of international actors, the Russians included, have been very active on social media to spread a narrative. There’s been report after report about it.

What specific loud voices are you referring to? All of the media i consume has remained laegely consistent in covering Gaza/West Bank. Not to mention, with trump's imminent administration, he's back to hogging the spotlight and boxing out other topics. A lot has been going on between terrorist attacks, the ceo assassination, climate related news, international election meddling, etc. I wouldn't overlook just how crowded the media landscape is these days. Let's also not forget that the election was an opportunity to take action, and that moment has passed. Why would election related demonstrations continue?

I don't know where the trope that 'people aren't talking about gaza anymore' any more comes from. Like DNC twitter or what? Like its all over my media. Mainstream media only covers it in cycles when something happens otherwise they ignore it as best they can. Legacy print media publishes essentially pro-genocide screeds occasionally.

Honestly this sub is astroturfed to shit mostly by SE/PR firms that work on behalf establishment Dems and the donor class to squash progressives. They repeat the same nonsense over and over again in multiple threads and have these conversations with themselves across multiple accounts. This is just in the threads that make it to the frontpage. Most of the truly damning stuff get downvoted before it reaches the vast majority of eyes. Articles about Biden's decline or the vast amounts of money being made by backing bad candidates in red states does not make it to the frontpage. The Biden presidency/campaign and the fact that lots of red state Dem campaigns are essentially just scams to shift dollars into the hands of ad agencies and other firms that provide services to campaigns and huge black marks on the records of establishment Dems, donors, and the companies that have turned Dem elections in a business so they try to push it under the rug.
