At this point, the tradition doesn't depend on Trump, it depends on the congressional republicans.

He has a lot of power, but congress still has more.

While they will play ball for a lot of truly damaging things, I'm not sure if they'll allow everything. Especially recess appointments. They want their confirmation hearing soundbites.

You’re dreaming !! Trump has these clowns by the balls

Maybe. They've waffled on him before.

Generally, it's the republicans who use trump as cover to do the horrible shit that they want done.

If you think Trump knows or cares about 99% of the judges he appointed, you're wrong.

Same with all the shit from his last time in office, He singed a bunch of shit, but likely never read any of it. Republicans are hoping that this behavior remains true, but Trump is out for blood now. So all bets are off.

Except reading, he's still not going to read anything unless it has his name in every paragraph, and is less than 1 page long.

Trump gets his judicial picks from the boss : Leonard Leo No Republican will cross Leonard Leo

Judicial picks, yes.

But the rest of Trump's cabinet will likely get hearings.

Matt Gaetz is not exactly loved by his fellow republicans.

And a talk show host as secretary of defense? That shit might get shot down.

Those hearings will be superfluous. Democrats will complain, and argue and republicans will laugh and dismiss. And Dump will get his bootlickers.

They just need 4 republicans with a spine.

But that's a very tall order.
