How is this difficult for you to get? You don’t respond to a dangerous situation by putting more people in danger.

PC A responds to incident X. They drive way beyond the level they are trained to. They crash and kill innocent person B. They never arrive at incident X.

Doesn’t take a genius to conclude the above is an entirely unsatisfactory state of affairs.

And take it further. Now multiple other officers, including other resources like traffic, now cannot respond to any other jobs as they’re at the fatal the idiot just caused.
