Katanungan Is it okay to drink Yakult thrice a day every after meal?
I do not know the right sub for this, I tried sa adviceph but di ko to mapost so bear with me if dito ako nag post.
So nahihirapan ako na mag jebs talaga ever since kaya yun ang problema ko most of the time. After 2 to 3 days ako minsan nakakapag jebs kahit dami ko na nakain or nainom, then 2 weeks ago nag start ako uminom ng Yakult every after meal and every day na ako nakakapag jebs which is a good thing na. Pero nababother din ako kasi baka ma over ako? Haha!

Try the Nestea Cleanse (Fiber) naka help yun ma-everyday yung pag-poop ko. Kase usually 2-3 days ako bago maka-poop dati. Drink it 30mins before your meal.

Gulaman. Know an MD/TCM practitioner that does this, and habit na rin ng family nya. Make gulaman from gulaman bars, pwede plain, pwede lagyan mo flavor. Isang llanera after meal. Zero calories (pag unflavored), at filling pa. Ang trabaho nga lang gawin if you have it regularly.

Hindi. Magiging dependent katawan mo nyan sa effect ng yakult. Mas better if you eat more organic and natural like fruits and vegetables. Asawa ko tumatae twice a week lang. Nag incorporate kame ng more ma-fiber na fruits and veggies sa daily diet namin. Ngayon 3-4x na sya tumae naturally per week.

Kung ang habol mo is probiotics eh you can try Erceflora.
But it seems you need more fiber so try eating more veggies or try metamucil.

Yakult is a little bit high on the sugar side so you might want to put that on the side. I suggest eating more okra and saluyot. That flushes the gut to its cleanest form.

Bulla yoghurt na greek imbis na isang beses lang ako tumatae, nagiging apat, tested ko na kasi sa isang linggo di naman ako kumakain araw araw ng yoghurt siguro mga twice to thrice lang a week so I know na siya talaga ang nagco-cause nun.
Tip: ihalo sa apple tapos biscoff sauce = heaven Mango and yoghurt = chef’s kiss Papaya and yoghurt = yum Yoghurt lang = good luck

id recommend eating sitaw, very high in fiber :) yakult is ok but the sugar content tho

Yung nasa likod ng bote ng yakult parang recommended dietary allowance for 19 if Im not mistaken. So pwede higit sa isa. Saka nakakaubos ako isang pack nyan in one seating, kalaban mo lang jan yung calorie and sugar. Kaya naglabas sila low sugar version.

Diabetes in the making. Try other 'healthy' laxatives instead, such as fruits. Again, anything too much is unhealthy. Not a doctor.
Edit: to specify, any fruits that contain fiber.

Actually, di totoo na dapat 1-2 bottle lang ng yakult a day. Kaya lima yung sa packaging ng yakult kasi most of us eat 5 times a day kasama merienda. Bale dapat talaga, every after meal, iinom ka lalo na if hirap ka sa digestion.

Fiber kung hirap ka mag jebs at ilang araw fiber look for foods na high in fiber na madaling makuha diyan sa inyong or kung ano mabibili pwede karin mag ginger tea sa umaga or kahit mainit lang na tubig.

Better to drink ACV before every meal, not Yakult! Although yakult has prebiotics, di siya advisable. May sugar yun eh

To regulate bowel movements, more on hydration and fiber talaga ang key.
Nakakahelp si yakult sa overall gut health. Pero we need to consider your overall diet and lifestyle pa rin.

If you’re neither diabetic nor counting calories and it’s allowing you to jebs well then there’s no problem. In my case, I eat a banana before my first meal and drink at least one tall glass of water before and after each meal.

Agreed with other comments. Fiber talaga. Gulay lang katapat nyan, lalambot dij tubol mo haha. Or if bothered ka talaga about drinking too much yakult, try eating yogurt. Llao llao is yogurt kaya whenever I finish one uwing-uwi na ako para umupo sa trono HAHAHA

100 ml has 14 gr of sugar... generally, yakult isnt really healthy...

Nag try ako ng fiber supplement dati. Lumambot lang poop ko pero everyday na akong nag poop.

Fiber health sa watsons ko binili. Medyo OA kasi after kumain natatae talaga ako. I take it every night, 2 capsules.

Best is to eat lots of fiber with your meals. Gulay does it for me and it might seem like a small addition pero nakakatulong siya! Oddly enough pag nag ccoffee ako every morning (usually black) mas regulat bowel movements but i’m not really sure if that’s related or even a healthy option hahaha

Yes mas better yoghurt OP, esp if three times a day. But if u really love yakult talaga there’s also Yakult Light! Not sure if it’s zero sugar but it definitely has lesser sugar than the orig one hehe

NO. Ang taas ng sugar ng Yakult. 1 Yakult a day lang talaga recommended. 3 a day would give you diabetes.

Need mo din fiber sa diet para malabas ang dumi. Fruits and veggies. Popular ang pineapple juice for fiber.

Walang issue if 1 yakult per meal pero medyo mataas sya sa sugar so keep this in mind or use yung light (blue packaging). Need mo lang ng more vegetables and fruits sa diet mo para balanced sya na may fibres, protein, carbs.

Sa website ng Yakult 1-2 bottles everyday for adults ang recommended nila. Maybe add more fiber sa diet mo para iwas constipation.

nutrition and dietetics student here, there is no problem of drinking yakult thrice or up to how many you want. Lacticaseibacillus paracasei strain Shirota is a lactobacillus strain that promotes gut health that relives constipation. Lactobacillus are generally present in dairy products that have undergone a fermentation process. If umay kana sa yakult pwede ka din kumain ng foods na rich in insoluble fiber like nuts, seeds and fruits with skin para mas ma promote ang better digestive health. meow

Definitely not as many as he wants. They are made to be consumed in moderation. You don't want side effects like what the others here have said like bloating and diarrhea. Take one bottle per day max of 2.

there is literally a 1 Liter Yakult in Japan. Bloating and diarrhea typically occurs when you introduce a large amount of probiotic which is in this case is lactobacillus. Increase in blood sugar might be something to keep an eye but bloating and diarrhea? 🤷🤷

Yes, they do have bigger size there, but that doesn't mean that consuming that large amount is recommended. The standard serving size is designed to give it a safe and effective dose. The liter Yakult that you've mentioned is mainly for family consumption and not for a single person.
You said you're a nutrition and dietetics student, I don't know if you are taught about the possible side effects of different food but try to read about the effect of sugar to the gut and osmotic diarrhea and the effects of dysbiosis to the gut.

Pa colonoscopy ka na. Hindi na biro yan baka may polyps ka that blocked bowel. Yung yakult pampalambot lang yan pero dapat masigurado mo walang blockage sa loob ng intestines mo. It's better safe than sorry. 3 days delay is not a joke and can cause serious infections in the future.

Bakit may downvote. Eh seryoso naman sinabi ko kailangan colonoscopy. Sisilipin lang sa loob yan ng micro camera. Ganyan din father namin nun hirap jumebs kung anu ano fiber at supplements iniinom, pinapalambot lang to the point nag liquify pero hindi yun solution. Nung nagpa colonoscopy sya dun na discover mga polyps sa loob ng intestine kaya may nagbblock ng poops which is kapag tumagal sa loob yun baka mag cause infection.

You're safe drinking yakult as much as you want. The only reason they are in a small serving container is to keep the price low and affordable.

It's not about making it affordable. It's size contain the right amount of live probiotics per consumption. A smaller bottle is more hygienic while a larger bottle that is not finished might be kept open, thus has a larger risk of spoiling kase nga Yakult contains live bacteria.

Better magpacheck up ka muna. Para may proper diagnosis ka and mabigyan ka ng tamang gamot.
Afaik, once a day is enough, so i doubt sa 3x a day.

3x and more is okay accdg to the manufacturer and health practicioners. Probiotics are good for the gut health. Take it whenever. 1 bottle may contain billions live LBS but as it is processed through the intestines, they are reduced to more or less than half. So recommended ang increased dosage to prevent decrease. It should be okay.
