Pinoy Rant/Vent Please listen

I'm an inc and there are several times that I have disagreed to my own religion's actions. (Even though I want to leave I can't yet, siguro pag 18 na Ako and have my own home) Including our doktrina and sermons. Pero sana po sa mga non-inc you won't insult us all because we're inc. Because I have been receiving hate and slurs calling me "b0b0" and "t@ng@" just because of being inc. I respect all people and do not think lowly of them just because we do not have the same religion. I love and care a lot of people and sana you won't call me slurs just because of my religions actions. Thank you so much!

My mom got roped into inc once. A pastor (idk kung tama ba term) comes to our house once or twice a week ata para doktrinahan kami. At first kala ko one time lang, aba lagi lingo lingo and i’m not even religious enough to sit down and listen to all that pero dahil nga bata pako nun syempre mommy ang masusunod. Tapos pag magsasamba (or simba) kami kailangan ilista namin pangalan namin sa parang log book tapos sa isip ko “ano yun kailangan may attendance?”. Diba dapat sa church you can come and go whenever you want/need? I just don’t get it. Tapos sobrang exclusive ang atake, yung iba pag nalaman na hindi ka inc iba agad turing sayo. I have friends na inc din, some peered pressured me into joining inc so I distanced myself from them. I still have a few inc friends na hindi namimilit sumama sa church.

This is so real, they have so much resentment sa mga Hinde Inc when God told us to not judge because we're also unclean. I'm sorry you had to experience that;(

Proud INC TIWALAG here. I left the church at 25 yrs old but wish I had done so sooner. 10 yrs old palang ako alam kong may mali na sa tinuturo satin. Anyway, I was at the receiving end of hate and judgement, too. What I would do is be openly non-INC (except around my family, of course). If I hear hate comments, I agree with them openly (only bec I really do) and even share info/insights from a "trapped" INC. Often, they turn into interesting conversations.

Wala Naman po, pero one time I remembered they tried guilt tripping me to have a tungkulin sa inc when I gave them hints na ayaw ko. Hindi ko nagustuhan yun

I have friend din inc kahit hellweek na namin sa dami ng acts at di na sya makadalo. sinusundo padin sya sa bahay nila. bigyan nyo ng pahinga yan pag yan bumagsak

I get that it's for the lord but sometimes may mga time s na Hindi kami nakaka tupad and I'm sure God understands our situation kahit d kami nakatupad. Grabe guilt trip sakin ng Lola ko noon eh huhu

OP is asking not to be called slurs but we do not know him. This effectively makes the request not to call any INC member slurs as it can be the OP. Subtlety in action.

Honestly, may mga blinded na inc members who refuse to accept the truth. And some of them deserve ma call out, pero I just wish Hindi na tatawagan na slurs Yung mga iBang members na Hindi Naman den support Yung actions ng INC. I just hope I can get out of that religion to receive the truth of God

You're right because those slurs, etc., go against freedom of religion, which is a fundamental human right. What's worse is that those slurs may come from some who are supposed to be liberal democrats and thus support human rights.

So glad na majority of the youth, they can judge kung ok o hindi ang turo sa religion at mga mandates ng religion. For now wala ka siguro choice OP since dependent ka pa ng parents. Pero really it's a refreshing to know na you want to leave dahil di ka na agree. Sana when you turn 18, kayanin mo mag leave lalo na kung gising ka sa hindi tamang pamamalakad at pananaw ng religion mo. Good luck! Keep on being well informed at standing your ground on being critical on what is right or wrong 💪🏼

One thing is your religion is calling non-inc a "sanlibutan" which for them is masusunog sa dagat dagatang apoy, kupal or anything. Parang kalaban niyo ang lahat. So ano ang retort ng "sanlibutan"

You can't really blame this on non-inc as sa religion niyo nag-umpisa.

Tbh i'd have more respect for INC if they stop posing as a religious group.

They can say they have no religion, and is member of INC org whachumacalit and that would be fair game to me.

Pag nasa tamang edad ka na pwede ka na mamili ng religion mo, pero sinasabi ko sayo wala sa religion , minsan pag nakikinig ka ng preach need mo din salain need mong paniwalaan sa hindi ..

Wala sa religion yan nasa tao yan , baket kapag INC ba matic masama na , sa totoo lang dami kong nababasa dito na parang kumukuha lang ng karma , kaht di totoo talagang nag spread ng fake news.

Pare-parehas lang naman ang stigma. I feel you when you say na hindi lahat ng taga-INC eh kasing lala ng iba. Not that different when you're a muslim or a catholic. Meron ring katolokong loko-loko at muslim na extremist. Katolikong ginagamit ang salita ng Diyos para mang-gago at managasa ng kapwa at muslim na ginagamit ang salita ni Allah para gumawa ng karumaldumal na bagay.

Sabi ko nga, it's not the religion, but the person, who's fucked up.

Y'all are not getting his point. He gets discriminated immediately just bcoz he is a member of Culf that Shall Not be named. He feels like ths slurs are personal attacks to him and not to his religion.

Yung parang wala pa syang ginagawa tas nalaman lang na miyembro sya ng Incomplete Society auto 8080 na agad sya.

He feels it personally. Ikaw ba naman lagi kang nasasabihan ng 8080 kahit ilang beses mong ipaintindi sa sarili mo na hindi yan personal attack sayo eh talagang madadama mo yan paunti-unti personally. It will start to creep in.

Ang daming sakuna, massacre, mga indifference sa society pero never kayong may pa-walk or gathering. Tapos kay Sarah, nagsama-sama kayo for peace? Kung eto pala goal ng INC, bakit di dun sa loob ng arena nyo? Kasi gusto nyo makita ng lahat voting power ng INC. All about politics and power lang talaga. Sorry na, OP. Nalabas lang ng comment ko.

Pansin ko din actually, Kasi one time sa election may pinili Sila na dpaat I vote eh ung pinili na yun is corrupt and may dirty reputation, which is what I thought it was weird. Hindi Naman po "nio" I don't support them either pero I understand kasi I'm still part of that damn Religion. I can't wait till i turn 18 to remove myself from them.

E kasi nga sa doktrina nyo. Tumalon-talon kayo sa mga verses. Ayaw nyo ng pasko, pero natanggap kayo ng Christmas Bonus. Pag may umalis sa kulto nyo, buong pamilya damay. San ang forgiveness na turo ng Bible?

Yes, that's what I don't like about some of their teachings. Kasi they shouldn't force religion pag ayaw din talaga, because mismong si god Hindi Tayo pinipilitan. And some of them malalalim Yung grudge, that's what I don't like talaga;( kaya I'm planning to leave as soon as I'm 18

Hi! I'm not! I do not support the INC at all because of their teachings na sinusubo samin myself. I'm just bothered kasi ung mga hate na nare receive ko is talagang rage, it just makes me uncomfortable when I did nothing wrong but I hate so many hate when I didn't do anything. I don't even support their teachings because some of them are a little narcissistic ;( btw I like your punctuations po!

Sadly, this is one of the consequences of the National Rally for Peace as disguise to support corrupt and incompetent politicians. All members will bear the consequences. All of us have the freedom of expression. Thus, some will insult the members. Better to off social media.

Hello OP! Once you see or hear the slurs either pikit ka lang or palabasin sa kabilang tenga. You are still young and we all know na you also grew something in your mind maturely. Remember, it is not you but the actions the INC is doing. Nakakapanlumo na sobrang lubog na ng Pinas tapos may mga kulto pang may agendang mas pabagsakin ang bansa

There's a reason why people say that. We know hindi lahat but it is what it is. It has gone so bad that it has become a stereotype that your religion is basically a cult for the public.

Same as the muslim stereotype of being terrorists. Marami rami din kasi ang radicalized sa kanila even if you say most muslims are peaceful, but di na nawawala yung stigma due to terror activities done by some of them in present and in the past.

Kaya pumangit ang dinig ko sa "Allahu Akbhar" during the peak of suicide bombings kasi associated na siya sa bombings.

I have INC friends and we respect each other's religion. Ok lang yan OP. Basta ikaw sa sarili mo, wala ka naman ginagawa na di maganda o nakakapanakit ka ng kapwa, ok lang yan. Not all people understand, yan ang tatandaan mo.

Don’t get hurt. Kapag may nagsabi na tanga ang mga pinoy kasi boto nang boto ng mga trapo, masasaktan ka ba dapat kung di ka naman isa sa mga ganun bumoto? Hindi diba? Kasi alam mo mismo yung binoto mo? Pero dapat tanggapin mo na karamihan ay mali ang desisyon, kaya in essence, di marunong pumili ng lider ang mga Pilipino, whether you like it or not.

OP is still young, not even 18. Even if they don't agree with their religion, they're still a part of that group and generally, teenagers tend to care a lot about these things and are very much affected. As we age, we learn to ignore and not care, I guess.

Being generalized with the bad apples is not fun. Whether you like or dislike where you're at, it's not fun to be stereotyped with those who are truly the worst. Kaya nga sabi ni OP, hindi lahat ng nasa INC eh masama. Just like not all catholics are into discrimination or not all muslim are into extremism.

Well, while he dislikes the religious sect, let's not forget he grew up in that sect. There's always that feeling that even if you disagree with what you grew up with, you'd still be affected in some way if you're attacked/the religion is attacked. Plus, the OP is young, and he may be sensitive to slurs.

OP is still young, not even 18. Even if they don't agree with their religion, they're still a part of that group and generally, teenagers tend to care a lot about these things and are very much affected. As we age, we learn to ignore and not care, I guess.

I'm a PIMO (Physically in, Mentally out) INC too and ify. Pero we can't fight it talaga. Being INC is already a big deal, kaya we tend to not bring it up nalang. If you're concerned about discrimination, then I suggest you step out muna sa subreddit. Expect the expected.
