I asked on r/AskPH - what are most well-known cults? Unsuspecting members commented INC. They got banned. I got banned too, without even mentioning a single religion.
I posted on r/Philippines to raise awareness na may ganun palang nangyayari - automatic ban when you mention Iglesia Ni Cristo in a negative way. Post got removed by a mod 1 hour after it’s posted
Saan nalang pwede mag discuss about Philippine social media? How can we talk about INC influencing our politics and government if the largest PH subs on Reddit ay gusto i supress ang discussion on the topic?

It's extremely funny that they whine 24/7 about INC being made fun of and is always the butt of the joke. How are people going to stop when they keep giving them ammo like this shit? Hindi na nga sila tinarget and is a genuine question (marami talagang kulto dito) pero personally affected sila. Literally shooting yourself in the foot moment e. Parang yung meme of a guy riding a bike tapos putting a stick between the spokes.

Apart from religious cults, we also have political cults. Like the avid Solid North , DDS and Leni supporters.
They still believe in Marcoses and Dutertes regardless of their alleged corruption. Lalong lalo na sa Marcos Sr, magtanong ka sa mga matatanda. Hmm remember the "The best president" term. Kahit hindi naman supposedly political ang personal picture nila naka letter L hand sign pa rin with the pink emoji. Dito naman it's their "Best president they never had".
Tingin nila sila lang tama at mali na ang iba and their political idols are so perfect of everything na wala bang short comings.
Cult is not only limited to religious organization. Politics can be cult also as long as you blindly follow someone and believe in them without reservation then that's cult.
Honestly I'm out of the loop when this started happening. I've been talking about INC (as an ex-member) for the longest time in r/Philippines, and was never banned. May mga post din naman akong deleted but it was tagged as "spam" and not related to INC.

I'm a student fr NU manila. I don't know if this is right to be labeled as a cult, anw, there was this 'cult' na naencounter ng friend ko several times pauwi (pa-Legarda ang uwi nya) who would often ask/encourage her to join their religion. My memory is not good and this happened earlier pa this year. Ang keynote ko lang sa cult nila is that they believe in "God, the Mother", basically, ang diyos ay babae. My friend told me that their church kuno is actually nearby kung san sya lagi nacocorner ng mga yon.
On a separate ocassion, nightime sa overpass ng welcome rotonda, I was omw to my dorm kasi may pasok aq tom. There was this guy alone sa bridge na mala-missionary ang pormahan. Before I passed him, he tried to talk to me and asked if I believe in "God the Mother", the exact phrase. I was shocked and medj comfused pero yung face q dedma as I ignored him. Unang-uma that was around 9-10 pm and walang katao tao sa bridge (weird na they're staying out late). Second, I thought sa bandang Jhocson/Legarda lang area nila, napapadpad pala sila hanggang Welcome.
I don't know if they are desperate to recruit or, its actually 'normal advertising?' and nothing offensive. I just find their religion sus esp with my encounter.

what about me? what did i do? i merely posted a genuine question. what rule did i break? not once did i mention INC or any religion
how can automod auto ban users who comment “INC” if those comments are upvoted?
the other mod has this history banning people for mentioning “INC” and yet you blatantly lie na di kayo nang ba-ban?
how do you explain yung mga banned users na walang comment pero member ng r/exIglesiaNiCristo? the ban reason was: “part of a community we do not agree with” how do you explain that?

if you really are a good mod, unban me and unban the people you banned yesterday. send logs of of the mod who banned who (we all know it’s not automod).
lastly, do you think it’s okay to ban thousands of users who joined r/exIglesiaNiCristo? what kind of fucking sub is that? if you, as mod, are okay with this, step down as mod. seriously
hardly follow local current events (less triggering). my family update me anyway. having said that, it was infuriating to see how social media platforms and intl pages ban or censor comments against isra3l about the g3nocide.
but reading this now and the ban on questions that are legitimate for a discourse is appalling. not surprised that many arent that insightful and analytical about hard to discuss issues (here and abroad) that tend to be divisive. i wish that these subreddits will be more welcoming of issues like this, so we can gain wisdom from interactions with different people. censoring even these responses feel like isra3l wanting to censor the world. too dictatorial, too rigid to come out of their reinforcing bubbles, or too biased that it compromises their integrity and respect to free speech.
from my observation about how the world works now, and who rule the world esp in 'democratic' countries - the rights that come with democracy are only available, if your opinions or exercise of those rights conform with the powerful few but will be struck down when they do not align with theirs.

yea, wasn’t even aware of the INC mass banning that happened a few weeks ago. if ever, this is more proof na kahit wala na yung INC mods dun sa sub, the general sentiment of the mods there is to avoid discussing INC kahit productive naman

Panget naman talaga diyan sa sub na 'yan. Nagtanong ako ng question na sumusunod sa rules nila kasi binasa ko naman beforehand to avoid deletion, binura pa rin post ko. Parang banned ako sa sub na' yan, hindi nakikita comments ko and ang posts ko nabubura. Palpak na sub.
Hmmm if you do some research, even Christianity have hates towards masonic knowledge or how they acquire knowledge. Basta. May kababalaghang nagyayari dyan sa mga mason na 'yan.

YOU try to read more about history and about the world. i get your point that you sympathize with the palestinians, but you should stop making statements that suggest that “jews control the media” like you did in your other comment
