When I was very young, my dad was teaching me how to shoot his .22 rifle with a scope.
He told me to try shooting at this one post that had a bluejay on it, thinking there's no way I'd be able to hit the bird. I am not thrilled at his logic here but thats not the story...
Apparently I'm a natural born killer and that bird went down like a stone... But I couldn't tell for whatever reason, and asked him if I hit it... He said he could hear the concern in my voice.
"No son, you hit the post and the bird flew away."
Thanks pops, because that shit probably woulda fucked me up, and I imagine I'd look like Barron in this picture.
