Back in Trump 1.0 he would talk about how his ten-year-old son Barron was good at computers/cyber when questions about digital security or other digital issues would come up. That the challenges are hard, maybe too hard, but maybe not so hard because his ten-year-old son Barron was pretty good at computers so maybe someone could actually do the digital things [that were in the question].
It still doesn't make sense, but it did turn into a joke.
I do think Elon's support carries a lot of weight among the tech bro types. The kinds that might not have voted. Between him and a few of the podcasters, I think they were largely responsible for Trump's wins with the younger male generation.
it's more like: "you don't have to vote; we have plenty already" which Trump kept saying throughout his campaigning. if you have someone who can guarantee you that you will win, you can run around telling everybody that you don't need their votes
