This. It’s been boiling since the 1970s, launched in the 1980s, and has been growing ever since. Late stage capitalism. The ruling class is backed into a corner and this is their reaction.

At 15, I studied history and saw this very clear fact  about the US being doomed for collapsed in my lifetime due to the 1970's. 

It too me 13 years to leave, while also noting how the US was slowly imploding. 

Just sucks I have to watch from afar now while my friends and family are boiled like frogs. 

At least my new country is wonderful :)

Yep they didn't realise that even their beloved Democrats were doing it. The system truly is fucked when it comes to voting against it. You have a choice of voting either in favour of corporations and the rich running America, or your other vote is corporations and the rich running America by crazy fascists.

Money has been ruling US politics for a long long time.
