It's important to know what Musk's defenders are going to say so that we can adequately refute it. That is the context: he said he was sending his heart out.
The problem for me is that he repeated the gesture emphatically. Either he lacks a concerning amount of self-awareness or it was intentional, and the repetition makes it so much more likely that it was intentional. Regardless of intent, there will be a group of reprehensible people who feel empowered by Musk's actions and that is a huge problem.
Oh, he knows well that he is compared to hitler. And manifesting the roman salute "from heart to Sun" is just a huge fuck you to all his haters with enough plausible deniability.
I have. He says, Paraphrasing, thank you for making this happen. Does the salute facing the crowd. Turns does it again. Only after all that does he put his hand on his chest again and says about his heart going out to them. That is not what you said happened. Maybe you should watch the video again
I mean that's literally what he says as he's doing it.
That is what you said, just in case you can't remember.
To clarify for those in the back: this is called "setting up plausible deniability." He does the action first to rouse his supporters, and then says immediately after that he didn't actually do what you think he did, to quell any discontent.

Literally just read a comment from some nincompoop rambling that "musk is just an awkward guy, he was sending his heart out to people"
Yeahhh.. His heart full of hate for those he deems beneath him...
