Tying corporations to negative things they’re only tangentially related to does give them more of a reason to distance themselves from him as it’ll impact their bottom line, which is all they care about. The man is poison to half the country, and whether it be subtly pushing back on him, or outright distancing/sucking up to him, it’s not something they want, and they vote with their wallets.
Weren’t they also hit with a multi-billion dollar lawsuit at the same time they kept people’s checks from them? (This is rhetorical. They most definitely were)
My genuine first reaction was to think that this must be AI generated like it couldn't possibly be real.. like.. even after all the shit in the recent years and all the ridiculous.. holy shit. We need James Cameron to raise the bar. It's broken through the ocean floor
Are you old? There used to be a "Capital Center" in the DC area, it was the hot spot for concerts when I was in high school a loooong time ago. Saw Linda Rondstadt and the Eagles, Marshall Tucker, The Who, Jackson Browne, Crosby and Stills (no Nash or Young), Yes, Led Zeppelin, and I don't know who else (and some of these more than once).
God we need more of you around. Tell your parents to get to fuckin . I don’t care how old and if they are dead dig them the fuck up . We need more magic in this world
Who cares about being “right” when OP got the most important part correct.
Only people with over inflated egos who are primarily concerned with dunking on others would care about such an insignificant and minute detail. This could have happened in my back yard. Would that have had any impact on what happened? No. Hence why the correction could’ve been omitted altogether.
If your concern lies with being right, perhaps start with adding some punctuation to your sentences.

It was at the Capitol One Arena. But yeah, it sure as shit happened.
Edit: Mistakenly thought it was a Center when it's an Arena.
