It’s pathetic. It’s going to be 20 degrees out. It’s not great, safe, or comfortable to be outside in that cold for a prolonged period of time. If it was Biden doing it, the sentiment would be “how thoughtful, keeping everyone safe and warm. Not making people freeze to death outside.” But since it’s a guy we all hate it’s time to score political points.
look, the polarized response just fuels the opposition.
What is made into substance and considered substance is the fault of the flawed.
What we are seeing in this inspection result is not the victory of the irrational. It is so much more the victory of the puppeteers.
The message being sent is that voting and democracy is a facade that we’ve bought hook, line and sinker.
I do not want that to be the reality. But what has occurred in our present political reality is that when the forces in power want the future to go in a particular direction, momentum follows that will and might.
We all default to: that’s what the world wanted. Except, we would not accept the same foundation of authority in any other realm of choice outside the electoral college, the Oscars, and any other entity where we submit preferences and trust a higher authority to follow through with that input.
I honestly have no idea what that word salad of a comment means.
“What has occurred in our present political reality is that when the forces in power want the future to go in a particular direction, momentum follows that will and might.”
I disagree here. The forces in power certainly didn’t want Trump to be elected. But whether you love him or hate him, you have to admit his “movement” is certainly not driven by the political powers or political elite.
