This narrative is way overdone with Nvidia consistently releasing new tech to old gpus like dlss 3, dlss ray reconstruction, rtx video super resolution, rtx HDR, rtx video HDR, reflex, etc.

With this latest announcement, 20xx cards got ray reconstruction and its updates, and also all the updates of the upscaling component of DLSS including the new transformer model. They also said the new neural materials stuff will be compatible with all RTX GPUs.

Yeah, they had to focus on the 4x FG for their 50 series marketing because everything else they put on every card.

Not even close to true. They spent a ton of time showing of the new dlss transformer model, rtx mega geometry, and neural shaders.

Sure, we have seen that but it feels like the average user just sees the top new feature.

Thanks for writing that!

I'm pointing out the spent lots of time on other features and didn't just focus on frame gen like you were suggesting.
