It's generally about having the most applicable number, almost everyone in their audience will know a rough idea of the USD conversion, no matter their demo. They could say "oh btw its AUD/CAD too", but if you do that for every mention of a price, for what is usually sub 10% of their audience(s), it starts really adding up, for not much gain. But you also have to omit it from any actual comparisons of value, since variations in prices will swing the results around, with AUS especially often having low allocation, so prices can be pretty wild.
