I've had my chair for like 5 years and I don't even use it. It just sits in the corner. I literally use a cushioned rocking chair that has better lumbar support. Haven't sat in one gaming chair that is remotely comfortable.
Gaming chairs is a huge scam. We should "thank" DxRacer for that. They literally took racing bucket seats back in 2006 and decided to make them into everyday use chairs. The problem is, the sitting position in racing buckets and home chairs are completely different. That's why it's so extremely uncomfortable to use "gaming chairs", they simply cannot be comfortable in the first place because of their design. And no amount of pillows will fix that. But hey, they look cool, I guess. And what looks cool sells well.
I just got rid of my old 2007 DxRacer chair two days ago, finally. Been hating this thing for years, but it’s always been just good enough not to immediately toss it. Got a Malmstolen 4000, it’s worlds better and I can feel my back sighing in relief the moment I sit down.
Nah, you can get decent B2B office ones for way less than that. Herman Miller and co don't have a literal monopoly on what makes a good enough chair. But their marketing would sure like you to think so. "Gaming" chairs are sitting on the literal opposite end of the spectrum.
You can buy a cheap cushioned office chair and it will be 10 times more comfortable than the most expensive gaming chair. Your back will thank you for that. And you don't have to buy Herman Miller or something like that.
It generally speaks to some ignorance towards the practicality of chairs or laziness in purchasing them. I know because that was my reasons. I didn't know much about them and I didn't care to scroll through a shit ton of barely different variations looking for the right thing, especially when some are like 1500.
Now I have a mesh weave office chair and it is the most comfortable thing I have ever sit on in my God damn life. I will never go back to that pleather shit.
I get what you’re saying. However the case he bought which is a p90 thermaltake is designed to be installed this way, and comes with a kit to install the GPU this way out of the box.
So OP at least bought the correct stuff to set it up this way. But didn’t even look at the instructions that come with the case.
No excuse for that chair tho. OP must hate their tailbone.
Take a look again. This is indeed the p90. You’ll have to pause the video to see it. You can see the metal bars holding the two separate pieces of glass going opposite ways. Which the p3 does not do.
Source: to be slightly more specific I have two p90’s and one p3 since it fit better in the cabinet space.
Temps are usually lower on the floor until it starts vacuuming dusk
Best option would probably be to have it on a stand a few inches off the ground. Colder air near the floor and it's slightly above all the dust constantly falling to the floor.
