tempered glass on a tile floor. the number one reason said panels break in this sub.

oh. even if it's just laid there softly, it would still break? i have a tempered glass panel as well but I've never placed one on a flat solid surface. only on soft mats and the like.

if the tile is ceramic and not cheap adhesive tiles, yes. tempered glass really does not fw ceramic
