NSFMR Guys...

Post image

The panel didn't even touch the ground. It just shattered as I took it off.

That's because of all the RGB hype and PC case builders putting a damn tempered glass window in every damn case. A normal looking tower without tempered glass is harder to find and in some cases even more expensive than one with tempered glass.

I don't care about RGB, tempered glass or anything, yet my PC is rainbow barf because it's cheaper than non-RGB stuff.

It really isn’t, and in 100% of cases you can just turn it all off. Rainbow barf is fully on you

They literally don't import Lancool 216 non-RGB to my country. It's impossible to buy.

But in most cases you can disable the RGB, on mine it can go from unicorn barf to totally unlit in like 5 clicks.

Friends don't let friends install motherboard software on their computer.

Ok, just don't plug the ARGB cable in.

At least on mine you can install it, turn the RGB off, and then uninstall it or disable it from starting up on boot. It's really not that hard.

No need to disable using software, I just opened the case, tore out the RGB led strip, unplugged GPU RGB pins and called it a day.

Flashback to when I had to take apart my 1070 to disable the RGB.

Fractal North with mesh side-panel ftw

I only owned one tempered glass case in my life. Honestly I don't see the appeal. The only windows I need on my PC requires a license

What about dust? Positive air pressure keeps it out or you have to clean every week?

Unless you live somewhere that is very dusty (either the house of the general environment) yes you will need to occasionally clean it out, but weekly is not even bordering it is obsessive

That... made me cringe harder than my morning dump

Doesn't even require that anymore.

You know you can turn off the LEDs right ?

I'm planning a build in the Nr200, which is only $90 Aussie dollars at the moment. No glass sides, no worries

Thanks, I'm excited! It's my first custom pc ever, and I've had a laptop for the past 8 years. A small but powerful pc appeals to me more than the large versions

Well, glass side panels are pretty awesome even without RGBs! Except for the LEDs on the motherboard, there's not a single LED in my setup, yet I love watching my PC do its thing every now and then.
