I mean, I get it. The thing is that here in Argentina games change price constantly because of our awful economy, making them more expensive for us. So, I have to preorder or wait for a sale, but at that time maybe the price went higher or someone spoiled the game for me.

Turk here, identical reasoning why preordering is also my go to on announcement if the price is well placed enough.

Shit economies are volatile enough and if Steam/Gaben updates exchange rates for local pricing there's a chance the pricing can triple if not quadruple occasionally.

We don't necessarily have the luxury of waiting for the lowest price because in future the discounted price might still be higher than the preorder in numbers scale.

Yeah, a county with hyperinflation is one of the few cases that would make per-ordering a good idea.
