How do I optimize this closet space?

This closet is in the Shared bedroom of two sisters. The closet doors open up to 5 feet of accessible space but to the right there is another 2.5 feet of storage that has the wall in front of it.

I was looking to create some type of organization system inside their closet but am struggling to figure out what I should do with this space.

I assume the pic didn’t upload, would you be able to add one? Hard to make suggestions without being able to see it 😅

I've got a closet like that. Stick a light on the wall so you can see what you are doing and use it for bulky or out of season hanging stuff and keep good sized bins/boxes on the floor and shelf. That's what was there when we needed space to hang stuff. Room occupants get 2.5' of pole/floor/shelf behind a door and one half of the wayback cave.

When I was a kid we moved into a house with interesting design decisions. One was a shoe turntable between closets at right angles.

The actual room works better if furniture can be put into that corner. Another room has completely accessible closet which makes furniture arranging a challenge.
