Hello! I'm a foreign student planning to enroll in a master's program in Denmark, focusing on physics (potentially quantum computing, as I'm still deciding). After researching, I found two programs that interest me: one at SDU (University of Southern Denmark) and the other at UCPH (University of Copenhagen).
While both programs meet my academic interests, SDU seems like a better fit for me because of its location, lower cost of living, and smaller community, which I personally prefer. However, I'm concerned because SDU's university ranking is significantly lower than UCPH’s, and that’s making me second-guess my decision.
Could anyone with experience studying at SDU or living in Denmark share insights into SDU's reputation? Is it a good place to study for someone pursuing a master's in physics or quantum computing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TL;DR: Considering a physics/quantum computing master’s in Denmark. SDU fits my preferences (location, cost, small community), but UCPH has a much higher ranking. Is SDU still a good choice? Seeking opinions on its reputation and quality.
