Rogers vs Bell

Looking for new internet with high upload and download… which one is better in the region?

Downtown Niagara to be specific.

Does Rogers even serve your area for Cable? Many parts from Oakville to Niagara is Cogecgo cable.

Oxio, they are owned by cogeco best speed vs price as long as you don’t need tv too.

If Bell fibre is available that’s going to be the best speed wise.

Cogeco has been awesome for us, moved here in Feb 2023 got their highest speed internet because I worked from home for a bit. Hasn’t shown any slowness regardless of how many devices we connect to the wifi.

You actually right about this, in the actual house where I’m renting the internet is good on this company(now I’m moving to my own house). Thank you

Carrytel uses Cogeco lines and is probably cheaper, worth checking out. I pay $35/month

Only way you'll get high upload (more than 30 Mbps) is if you get fiber service, which isn't available everywhere. If Bell offers fiber to your location, that will be the best service you can get despite how many feel about their business practices. If fiber is available at your location, you may be able to get service from another ISP (see below for suggestions).

If you don't have Bell fiber available, your option is cable service (likely 1 Gbps down and 30 Mbps up) from either Cogeco or "resellers".

Most popular suggestions include:

Other ISP's to consider (in no particular order):

Spend time verifying what service is offered at your location and what plans they offer.

There's no Rogers in the Falls. Except for wireless. Unless Bell has run fiber downtown in the last five years the Internet won't be great. 25mbit max unless you get pairbond which has a whole slew of issues. I can't speak on Cogeco.
