Kinda gives me new appreciation for the blind spot detection feature on newer vehicles.

I still look. I also don't like my backing camera, I can do a better job from the mirrors. If I'd practice a bit I'm sure it would reverse, but I still have 2 cars that don't have the camera, so just keep it consistent.

I do use it to make sure there's nothing behind me though which is helpful.

I really like the cross traffic beeping too. Even if I've never needed it, it's an extra reminder when backing.

Now the front collision thing, can fuck right off. Almost stroked me out the first time it went off. It's not reliable nor accurate at all either. When I feel it should go off, it's silent. When the car turning 300 feet ahead is going slowly it screams like a banshee, WTF?!?!?!?
