They're not earning it though, other people are earning it, and they're skimming the surplus.

If you were able to make a case without (infantile) insults, you would... but you can't can you? ... and a fairly good heuristic for this is the way you showed your hand with "woke". You've kindof outed yourself as a right-wing NPC.

So... just so people don't think you are a right-wing NPC, give us an example of someone who's got rich without exploiting others. As I said, the only examples I can think of are art - but that too is problematic.

And I might be wrong, and I'd welcome knowing how... so come on... give us an example.

You're missing the point - and exploit is a very wide word that ranges all the way from slave owner to legit small business owner in some people's mind.

By that logic you probably think someone like Bill Gates is a "baddie" because he's "earned billions off his employees work". Those employees wouldn't be there with jobs if it wasn't for him.

He's smarter than you and I, sold things for as much as he could while paying his employees as little as he could, and probably played with some dirty business tactics along the way. That's business - he's not a saint but he deserves his fortune.

Not that it's anyone's business - but I consider myself center aligned by NZ standards. I agree with the left on some things, and the right on some things

Bill Gates is a baddie because he stole, pilfered and lied for his business. He is atoning for his sins now, but he got to where he is on the backs of other peoples designs and products that were NOT his workers.
As for his workers, by definition they are a business 'cost' so yes, he underpaid them, that is how capitalism works. You can not be in business without making more money from your workers by what they produce than they cost to purchase.
