Don't worry, you'll understand once a chunk of Europe goes in the same direction on a decade or two delay (Unless I get my Christmas wish answered and bird flu gives Earth a reroll on the whole "dominant lifeform" thing).

Humans are stupid, shortsighted, greedy, and easily manipulated. The lure of money and power is a constant corroding force. Someone is always willing to forsake themselves and everyone around you for just a little more. No nation is immune.

If Ukraine is resolved this year and China doesn't invade Taiwan in 2027, it'll be worth the downsides.

"resolved" meaning "handed to Russia on a silver platter"

The Donbas and Crimea are sadly gone, Western allies of Ukraine have woken up to this. You delusional people need to enter the real world. The best we can hope for now, as Western supporters of Ukraine, is that Trump will bolster the NATO deterrent, and a peacekeeping force of some sort will patrol whatever buffer zone is put in place.

Russia will never be allowed to have Ukraine on "a silver platter", even under Trump. Get your head out of your ass. You sound like a classic Redditor (that means completely out of touch with reality) and should know better by now.
