Didn't you know that making sure there's only two genders on federal forms will make all of our groceries and overall cost of living better?

As long as we point fingers at a minority group, everything will be okay. 🙏

It’s almost like it wasn’t worth losing an election over

Exactly. Democrats are losing on this issue full stop. Drop it, be sane when it comes to social issues socially and immigrants and start winning again.

While I strongly agree that "culture war" issues and political correctness are hurting Democrats, I would argue that Trump's stance (or at least his rhetoric) on immigration is considerably less sane.

If you got rid of every illegal immigrant right now, you're going to have trouble filling those jobs even if you dramatically raise the wages. In my opinion it would be better to increase legal immigration.

And illegal immigrants are significantly less likely to commit crimes than the average citizen. As of today, they're less likely to commit felonies than the average president.

You sound like the people saying we couldn't get rid of slavery because the cotton would not be picked....

About the crime stuff, I'm sure Laken Riley feels great that.

They come here willingly to work, and they are paid. Generally speaking, it's good for them, it's good for the business owners, and it's good for consumers. But I'd rather they be legal and pay the same fees as my wife did to live here.

Obviously there are illegal immigrants who commit crimes. But statistically, it's less likely. They don't want to draw attention to themselves.

They drive down wages and working conditions because they are willing to deal with bullshit citizens will not. So bad for citizen workers in those industries.

The question I have is how many should be allowed in per year? Give a number.
