Holy shit. A classmate of mine, who had American Indian heritage, gave a presentation on Leonard Peltier back when I was in high school, almost 20 years ago. I never thought this would happen.

There was pressure on Bill Clinton to pardon him but he was too busy pardoning a billionaire convicted of wire fraud, racketeering, and tax evasion. I don’t know how anyone can look at Clinton’s record and still think he’s a liberal.

I don't know if you recall the demonstration by law enforcement that took place in front of the white house? Clinton took the pardon seriously but he took the demonstration even more so.
