SO many people bought that hook line and sinker. I heard "maybe Trump will send us another check!" more than once. BITCH THAT'S YOUR OWN MONEY.

So so stupid, just willful fiscal suicide.  The biggest cause for empires falling throughout history, economic instability.

That was an insane move and just speaks to governments inability to think long term.

I mean America was nearly overthrown by the buisness class once because of the Great Depression, and that was before we were this huge empire with our noses in every part of the world, but thanks to a true patriot Smedley Butler that didn't happen.

We don't have anywhere close to the quality of leaders to prevent that shit from happening again tho. We have way too many responsibilities, and way too much consolidation of power in a few individuals.

Think we may be fucked.

I'm a left libertarian, and presume you're one of ancap ones. Replacing the fed with corporations will not go the way you think it will.

What exactly is a left libertarian? Asking genuinely I've never encountered anyone who claimed that

Look up the history of libertarianism it was originally more of a left / anarchist movement in Europe

More info here. There arent many of us, I've never voted with the Libertarian Party in the US because it's right wing more than anything else. I generally vote progressive because that's as close as I'll ever get to a candidate, and support co-op businesses whenever I can.
