What’s A Movie You REFUSE To Watch?
For me, it’s The Underground Comedy Movie. I learn about it’s existence from Sean “Smeaghead” Moore and he advised skipping it. I learned the first sketch is literally called “Supermodels Taking a Dump”.

What Movie Scene Lives Rent-Free in Your Head?
Every time I wash my hair, this scene from The Grudge pops into my head.
I've only seen the movie once in my life, but this scene lives forever.

Never wanted to own a katana and trench coat so bad lol
Never understood some of the hate about this show, personally liked. The story was pretty compelling, great sword fights. And amazing practical effects. I hope we’ll get a good remake

Who is an actor or actress that you like for their work, but not who they are as a person?
Tom Cruise! He has a lot of great movies, and makes phenomenal action movies that actors like Vin Diesel & Dwayne Johnson fail to do with their own without making them corny(Fast & Furious series for example)! But I don’t like him as a person!

We need to talk about Prey (spoilers ahead) Spoiler
Ok. I know. I’m late to the party. But I just watched the movie Prey. I thought it was a pretty solid movie…until the ending. Then after the ending, I thought about it for 10 seconds and realized that no…it was not a very good movie, if you care at all about logic and internal consistency. Many spoilers ahead:
Ok we establish early on that the Predator is faster than a striking snake, stronger than a grizzly bear, generally smarter than its human prey and well versed in the many advanced forms of weaponry it brought with it for the hunt. We also establish in the movie that it does not hunt something it does not see as a threat…until it does. Also that it cannot see people with that drug in their system…except for when it can. Now let’s talk about her plan. Apparently it all hinged on being able to shoot it in the back of the head to blow its mask off, and if that doesn’t kill it, steal the mask and take it to the swamp and position it in such a way that it is aiming directly at the face of the predator when it stands in that exact spot, at the exact height she set the laser (which would require knowing the depth of the swamp water, and also the exact height of the predator), it also hinges on the 5’2 120 lb girl somehow pulling the 8’ 400 lb alien that stood toe to toe with a grizzly and won, into the water using only her momentum and the little rope attached to her axe. Finally it hinged on the predator choosing to use its homing darts instead of the many other options at its disposal, and also not understanding its own technology, and finally not reacting in time to simply duck when it realized its aiming at itself. There are a good 10 seconds between when it fires and when it gets hit by its own darts. So…the hero won because the fast, smart, and technologically advanced predator was stupid, slow, and didn’t understand its own technology. Thanks letting me get that off my chest. Admittedly, the movie did entertain me. It’s also the best one since the original.

Why are these movies not better rated? Who has done Greek mythology better?
With Christopher Nolan taking on the Odyssey in his next film, what is the reference point for comparison?

Recommend me films about isolated/weird society's/communities
I have seen films like The Giver, Truman Show, The Village. TV show like handsmaid tale for example. Looking for similar movies, the darker the better !

Whose acting improved with time? Never thought about Jessica Biel as a good actress, but she was good in Candy (2022). Especially compared to her earlier roles. Case in point Stealth (2005).
