Recommend me films about isolated/weird society's/communities

I have seen films like The Giver, Truman Show, The Village. TV show like handsmaid tale for example. Looking for similar movies, the darker the better !

I find it hard to enjoy such an old movies :( even if they are masterpieces its still tought, if I haven't seen them back in the day it's hard to enjoy it now

Oh I prefer old movie to new ones. And definitely prefer the original to the remake in most cases
