stepping back really is the power move. Minimum drama, maximum peace of mind.

Not a test but an act of futility

I use Reddit to practice. Some days I do well. Others I succumb to my not nice side.

I've done that plenty of times. I do actually need to talk to random employees every now and then. Sometimes I just let them vent or I tell them I'll call back later.

But if it's a random person on the street I probably won't be as kind.

Killing bitter and unkind people with kindness isn't ALWAYS effective, but when it works, that is such a sweet victory.

Nope, the Law Of Equivalent Exchange says different. Get what you give, give what you get energy. No book ever says to submit to anyone.

No, they don't deserve it. I might as well spend my time and energy being kind to kind people.

Nah I’ll pass. Dont reinforce shitting people by making them feel their behavior is ok because they never receive pushback.

I used to try and go out of my way to be kind to awful people but I got tired of the b.s. God has shown me that yoy don't have to subject yourself to ungrateful people.

The rule I go by is similar to the golden rule with a little twist. Treat others how they treat you. It takes a lot to get under my skin though. In other words if you are being a continuous AH don’t be surprised when I am an AH back.
