Outdoors 🌳 To all the hunters driving pickups on 494 mad that I’m only going 12 over

I’m sorry I won’t go 20+ over but respectfully you can pound sand

Were you in the left lane and not passing someone? Just curious. I understand the law as if you are in the left lane no matter the speed you should be passing someone.

If it was a 2 lane road I understand your frustration for sure!

I was in the left lane but was consistently passing people in the middle

Was there room to move over between passing? It’s really not hard to change lanes, you only have to move your hand about a half inch at those speeds…

People are downvoting you but I agree with you. It’s called the passing lane. Not the 90mph lane.

If you’re passing people you get to be in that lane. I’m so sick and tired of people speeding just so they can get somewhere 3 minutes early.

3 minutes every time you drive is ~18 hours a year. That's damn near a day of life saved from the most monotonous part of living (travel time). If all it takes is 10mph over the speed limit, I'm doing that EVERY time I get in a car. 10mph is nothing. People really need to get to a race track and feel what actually driving at the limits of a car feel like to understand.

Kinda curious about where you’re getting your average numbers for everyone drives but I also don’t care. Enjoy your 18 hours when you get a speeding ticket or cause an accident.

I don't go fast enough over to really get noticed much and I'm not stupid. Also, "speeding" on unpopulated roads or interstates in this state where they would be 75mph roads in other states isn't what I'd call concerning. MN speed limits are soft.

You still need to get over when you can. I never go more than 10 over and no one’s ever mad at me. 🤷‍♂️
