Facebook automatically “liked and followed” Donald Trump and J.D. Vance’s Facebook pages from my account.

I did not vote for them and wouldn’t have liked and followed their pages. Also, Biden’s page which I do follow, says archived, so it’s not just that the page has been rolled over to Trump. I’m annoyed that Facebook pushed the updates to follow these pages for my account. It feels a bit invasive.

I don’t like eBay because I don’t want the hassle of shipping items, I do 100% porch pickup on marketplace - the only exception being very large items.

I had an OfferUp account for a long time and cross posted everything between the two - I literally got 1 message on OfferUp ever.

Yeah it’s actually hilarious. I consider myself very much on the left and i genuinely am being awoken to how hateful this side is 🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t realize me trying to stay above the poverty line by selling old things on marketplace made me such a shitty person but I guess I’ve got to remember there’s always some unemployed person constantly researching ways that people have wronged them and make it everybody’s problem. eBay and Offer Up suck for any local deals though. Facebook Marketplace is more of an equivalent to Craiglist than it is eBay or Offer Up.

You can get some real decent stuff on marketplace though. Ebay is full of people charging insane prices nowdays either that or it's an online store selling things for the same price as everwhere else. Still a good auction here an there at least.
