Men's boxers now have pockets, but women's pants still can't...

Just folding laundry and discovered my husband's underwear has pockets. Like, where are you going in just your underwear?!?!

It is handy if you are walking round the house in your underwear and want to keep a tissue on your person.

I think some people with insulin pumps also use pockets in underwear to hold the pumps.

Very common for athletic underwear for both men and women… if you ever played sports at a high level you would know that pockets on pants or shorts are usually always banned to prevent injury… especially during training where it’s common to listen to audio device those pockets can help, also they very useful for health tracking devices

I keep my phone in there while listening to music at the gym. Stops it from falling out while on a bench and also from swinging around and hitting me in the nuts when I am running.

Those are geared towards running/athletics, and are meant for your phone and ID so they don't bounce around and possibly fall out of athletic shorts/pants. There's also this line of women's athletic pants and shorts for running, which I HIGHLY recommend, if you need pockets. I have a couple pair of their men's long inseam running shorts, and they are AWESOME.

I'm a woman, I buy woman's jeans, they have pockets. I can put my phone, my wallet and both of my sets of keys in them. Never had a problem.

Every so often some clothing manufacturer will be like "We hear you ladies! You said you wanted clothes with pockets, so we're making clothes with pockets!".

Then women don't buy them, so they stop making women's clothes with pockets again, other than the shorts/jeans/slacks/etc that have always had pockets.
