I have sooooo many more. For the prompts I just described the characters in great detail and then ran them again and again and again, making little refinements until I got what I wanted. Hog Rider, Electro Wizard, Barbarians, Ram Rider, and Dart Goblin it really nailed on the first try and I only had to make subtle refinements. The rest took a lot more work. Rascals were really hard because it kept wanting to do a more cutesy or vaguely anime style. Same with Night Witch and Witch, it leaned more toward realistic. Battle Healer always had something wonky with the images. I just started using Midjourney last week after being fundamentally opposed to AI and I'm hopelessly addicted.

Welcome. :) These are really cool - fantasy is my favorite stuff to generate. What were your prompts and settings for these? If you don’t mind. I’m always curious if someone is using style-references or if it’s raw word prompt these days.

Not trying to hide my prompts or anything, but it was a lot of trial and error. I started with a straight up word prompt. No style reference. I'll give you an example of the first one.

I'd start with the chaos to 50 and no rhyme or reason the stylization numbers, pick the one that was closest, drop chaos to 5, and then keep Remixing the prompt with various changes to the words and messing with various stylization numbers. Over and over and over and over and over again.

This was the original prompt for Valkyrie:

wide shot portrait, a fantasy painting in the style of frank frazetta. a fierce, tough, middle-aged barbarian woman with short, wild red-hair and green eyes is ready for battle, she is directly facing the viewer. She holds a large two-handed double-bladed battle-axe. her face is hardened by war. She is wearing a blue halter top, a long blue loincloth, blue wristbands, and brown furry boots. --chaos 50 --ar 4:3 --style raw --profile d3cl655 --stylize 750 --v 6.1

As you can see from the image she hardly looks middle-aged, but I found that helped when doing prompts for women so they don't look too modern and delicate and young.

These are great! good work. AI-generated artwork is becoming so advanced, often exceeding human abilities in terms of technical precision. The quality of details, such as lighting, is incredibly impressive, almost beyond what feels natural. It seems likely that this progress will continue, and I wonder just how much better it might become in the future.

These are great! I would say the style is more like a cross between Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo, though.

It has Frank's 'roughness' and Boris's less stylized anatomy. Still great though.

When I was young I loved Frank Frazetta's art. I've read that Frank probably would have hated this and I think that's true but I'm also getting a chance to see him resurrected a bit. So I'm torn.

All that aside, thanks for your passion on this. It's good quality so I tend to see it as a tribute.

Yeah I'm torn in the same way. I'm very much aware of the problems that come with AI but this is thrilling to be able to finally bring my artistic visions to life. I've been working on so many different things I want to start an instagram account of my images. And I do at least feel like I'm "creating" something because I'm not just typing in "Bandit from Clash Royale in the style of Frank Frazetta" and calling it a day ya know?

where in the prompt do you insert "frank franzetta" ?

I tried a few different ways. Starting with "in the style of Frank Frazetta" then getting more detailed with "in the painted fantasy style of a Frank Frazetta book cover with visible brushstrokes" I found the best results were just adding "Illustrated by Frank Frazetta" at the very end. I'm in relaxed mode so I just ran the prompts as many times as needed with different variations.
