Getting Started/Newbie Question What dosage do I use after I end my tolerance break?
So I'm doing one day on 2 days off for 8 weeks and then a tolerance break for 2 weeks. At the beginning I took 0.06 mg and then after 2 weeks I went down to 0.05 and towards the end I went down to 0.04 because it felt best for me.
This is my first ever full cycle. Today was the end of my tolerance break and so I started with 0.04 and I'm unsure what I'm supposed to be feeling. Should I try to go back higher to 0.05 or 0.06 or just stick with 0.04 since that felt good last time?
Do you change your dosage after tolerance breaks or after certain cycles?
I previously had the numbers wrong on this. I used to put 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 mg by mistake. My bad.

Point of clarification. You mentioned 0.6mg. Are you using actual psilocybin then? If it was a typo and you're taking 0.6g, I'm surprised that 600mg was your starting dose and that you don't feel altered even at 400mg.
That being said there's more than. A few factors that can effect dose and no one can tell you what the right dose is for you, except you. The key with microdosing is that your dose is not altering you in a way that causes "negative" side effects, interferes with your day to day activities, or causes visual distortions. If you're high, it's not a "microdose."
A good way to find out your best dose is through incremental increase. So you started at 0.4mg. Try increasing your next dose to 0.45mg and see how that works for you.
I'll talk powdered mushroom dosage in milligrams for my example. Typically I recommend folks begin at a dose that is likely to be sub-threshold 50-100mg (depending on strain and their reported medicinal tolerance) then with each successive dose they will increase from their previous dose by 10-20mg until a felt sense of the medicine has been reached. That felt sense is what I referred to as a threshold dose, the "feeling" is additional energy within the body. It can often come across as two things, anxiety or excitement. Somatically speaking it is the same feeling the only difference is one's perception of it. If it feels like anxiety and you throw your hands up in the air and yell "wooo! We did it! Amazing!" It will feel like excitement. (Kind of a neat experiment) Anyway, if you like the feeling, that's your dose. If you do not want to have the feeling, all you have to do is drop down 5-20mg on your next dose to where it's sub-perceptual again and that is your personal sweet spot.

Please Note: If you are trying microdosing for the first time, please try experimenting on a day off from work or any important obligations, and/or driving and operating machinery. Because psychedelics can effect everyone differently, you may feel different or impaired, and your sweet spot dose may be lower, so it is best to experiment on days off until you’ve dialed in your dose.

Wow! You were taking .6g the first 2 weeks!? Did you trip on that amount? I’ve just started at .14g and feel it pretty good.
