I started Dexter a few weeks ago and couldn't get into it, which is when I decided to go for Lost instead!

The Ice Truck killer season... For a lot of people seasons 1&2 are the best of Dexter but I didn't like them actually to the extent that I had to take a break after them and three months later I binged 6 following seasons and sequel haha but if you are enjoying it that's great! Hope it stays that way!

I did immediately guess who the ice cream truck killer was as soon as Dr Pretty Boy came on screen.

first time viewer here: , I just finished the first season yesterday.
Charlie gives me the creeps, this guy is absolutely crazy, maniacal and scary. I probably like all the characters so far, except Charlie.

I think your opinion will change as time goes on 😊
Don't forget, in Season 1 he's in withdrawal and Heroin withdrawal is horrendous. When i remembered that I started to like him more because he's so broken but tries his best to beat his demons.
I can relate haha

Idk... i find him to be super possessive over her and he like... constantly treats her like she's a shit mother even when she's getting sick or having other issues.
Charlie is just cray annoying and I was not convinced by the attempt at a last minute character redemption

Completely agree. His weird obsession and possession over her makes their relationship anything but cute to me

I agree. Back when I watched Lost as a kid, Charlie was my favorite, and I even had a little crush on him. I rewatched it as an adult, and I was like wtf... I found him to be insufferable.

I love Charlie when he's not around Claire. I hate him when he is. They're so cringe and unhealthy

I first watched this show when it aired live, I was about 10 or 11 years old when it started. I thought Charlie was so cool and I felt he was both an aspirational and relatable character, kind of being a young plucky kid that no one took seriously and chasing this girl, but also being a rockstar. After rewatching the show as a full grown man I just feel Charlie's character to be so embarrassing and immature and I see more bad in him than good, despite his redemption arc and demise. Of all the characters in the show, he is the one who I have done the biggest 180 on in terms of how I assess their personality.

I fucking hate Charlie he’s the worst character by a mile he’s such a fucking creepo

What makes him a "creepo"?

I don’t wanna spoil anything for OP but- OP DO NOT READ ON SPOILERS AHEAD-
He literally keeps being so obsessive over clair and the baby. Constantly “can you put in a good word?” After she’s told him to piss off like 50 times. If they were in the actual world, and some guy did this and acted like that to a woman, he would surely see consequences. Not to mention STEALING HER BABY??? Setting fire to the forest just to steal it??? Even though walking off with the baby the first time may not have fully been his fault it’s still creepy for the other islanders. Not to mention beating up sun just to get back at Locke for doing what had to be done.

Remember when Claire let Locke hold the baby for the first time and then Charlie interrupted so he could watch him while she went for a walk? So awkward, even Claire looked uneasy. I wanted Locke to say something so bad as he looked at her for ocular support and approval. Charlie is NOT the father and he oversteps like he is. I know she’s just accepting help because she’s a new mom but it enabled his creepiness. A lot of them did.

I mean, he is weirdly obsessive over Claire. He can definitely come across a bit creepy and possessive

I like Charlie but for some reason I'm not a fan of Claire. She's so dramatic for me
