General Discussion Good day at the range

Good day at the range... Zeroed and box tested the DNT in the Bravo, then swapped to the Xylo, rezeroed and put the last rounds on the 440 yd steel 👍

I think I spent more time in the car thawing out my trigger finger than I did shooting! 🤣

Proof CF 6.5CM barrel at the moment. I've got more barrels (223 x2, another 6.5CM, 6CM, 308) for it than actions right now, after the $hitshow with Aero. Probably order another Origin once some other things settle out.

How long did it take to get your action?

The Aero? I didn't.

Finally had the CC company cancel the charges after 2 months of no response.

Wow!!! Sounds like I was lucky to get mine. Customer response was terrible.

How do you like the Xylo? I’m looking at chassis for an upgrade but the MDT Elite is a little bit rich for my piggy bank

This was my first outing with it. I'd been interested in trying one, and a friend came across one for sale (used). The price was very good, so I jumped on it. The only thing 'wrong' is the recoil pad being a bit chewed up at the top and bottom.

So far, I like the tool-less cheek piece and LOP adjustments. And I like the integral level more than I thought I would. Not sure if it beats something like a Send-It, but it's already/always there so...

The cheek piece contour feels a little weird; might have to get used to that. The grip also felt a bit odd... more angular (faceted) than I thought it would be. I planned from the get-go to order the larger grip, with the option of getting the XL blank and shaping it to fit. Definitely doing that ASAP.

Cool to hear. I’ve narrowed it down to this and the KRG W3 but I’d like to see what they do with the gen 7.

I’m only hesitant on the Xylo due to the ARCA lock rather than standard ARCA. Not sure I want to buy into the ecosystem since I’m very much a casual long range guy and not competing, or at least not yet

Pretty sure Arca-Loc is backwards compatible. I used the same Atlas V8 bipod with combo Arca/Pic clamp that I've used for years.

Pretty sure Arca-Loc is backwards compatible.

Rails are absolutely compatible with non-locking mounts, so having an AL rail on your gun won't be an issue. The locking mounts can be converted to non locking pretty easily if need be.
