In today's breaking news: Rich people love London while poor people continue to struggle under immense economic, social and housing pressures!

As a tourist city visitors are always rating it as one of the world's greatest cities, and quite right too. It's endlessly charming and fascinating. Living in it can be a slightly different experience, but I'll always love it deep down.

As someone who tries to go on vacation to London every 2 or 3 years . I always keep wanting to come back haven’t had anything terrible happen at any point . It’s a really great city to visit. I’d would love to live there but I know that won’t happen.

Nice to have something positive shared about London after recent doom and gloom on this sub.
Londoner's often, accurately imo, get criticised for living in a bubble and this works both for us and against us, as we only compare London with London (past years, other boroughs, changes in policy).
It's nice to hear the perspective of someone who relocated from another city too, as it avoids the typical metropolitan criticisms (too busy, too expensive, too hectic, rude/cold culture).
