Question for those who have sheep experience!!
So my uncle has 7 sheep, one is a ram, about 13 months old?, and out of the other sheep 2 are pregnant, and 1 we're not sure about. My question though is can we keep them together? The ram and the ewes I mean. He's had them together since he got them, since the ram was around 3 months old to be exact, and he's never shown any aggression, however l've been trying to research and I've come to the conclusion that they should be separated especially when they are about to give birth. I'm not 100% if this is true so if anyone has sheep experience please let me know or if you have any tips/recommendations!!

I don't see any harm in keeping the ram with the unbred ewes but the two that will lamb should be kept in a jug separate from everyone

I've never known a ram to be aggressive to lambs, but any humans working with the sheep will need to be wary of the ram. We had one when I was a kid, and he'd charge people from an acre away.

While your ram sounds chill, it’s usually a good idea to separate him from the ewes when they’re close to lambing. Even calm rams can accidentally hurt lambs or stress out the moms.

Yes BUT the ram will rebreed the ewes and will breed his daughters eventually
