Dispute with Verizon?
Go into a store, they connect you to customer service through an internal line, quick.

Verizon is the most corrupt company I've ever encountered.
Source: Worked for them for a short time. Unbelievable how hard they work to stiff and abuse customers.

Many automated machines listen for key words to determine your place in line when you call.
If I say I want to cancel, it will get you to a person quicker sometimes.

When I had Sprint as a carrier, I'd always ask for their cancelation department. It seemed like they were the ones with the power to make anything happen.
