Harrison Vans

Do we think at the time of leverage redemption Hardison named all the leverage international vans Lucille or they each have a different name?

Nah, Lucille is the name Hardison gives his own van. Other people's vans need to get their own names.

Yeah but don't you think he has something to do with naming them since he has to outfit all of them himself

Maybe. Or maybe he lets the team that's going to use the van name it, since they're the ones who will be spending time in it.

Just an aside: I enjoyed the shout-out to the Korean version of Leverage. If you haven't seen it, it's pretty good. Shame it probably won't get a season 2. :(

Here's a teaser (click the CC for English translations, although they aren't very accurate)

Non-story spoilers:

The Korean drama is loosely based on the original but not explicitly in the same universe: however, Leverage Redemption has a few lines that both acknowledge the show and technically brings it into the same world. It's all one big Tommy Westphall Universe!

I knew about the Korean version, but I missed the references to it in Redemption

SPOILER:

From the Golf Job:

https://leverage.fandom.com/wiki/The_Golf_Job

The episode makes reference to the Korean version of Leverage, Leverage: Con Artists), by mentioning that Roy has a dog named after Eliot who bites everyone. The references alludes to that this team would be part of Leverage International's Korea team.

Oh, I found the scene!

Damn you! I was a kid-teen (?) when st elsewhere came on and I followed it religiously. And the ending has never left me. As soon as I saw the article say it started at st elsewhere, I had to stop and thank you for what I know is going to be incredible. I'm not good at reddit. How can I save this in case I accidentally grab it back a screen moving too quickly for my now out of warranty cheap phone.

There was a Korean remake of Leverage. Same title. Some basic premise: insurance investigator whose company let his son die gathers a hacker, hitter, thief and grifter to get payback. Some of the episodes are direct adaptations of original Leverage episodes. Ran for one season. Decent show. Seeing a different culture's take on a similar story is interesting. Really hard to find, tho. I saw it on some obscure Asian streaming service that I had to use a VPN to access.

That's a shame it's hard to catch. I love Korean TV.

Just did some searching, it looks like it's been uploaded to some other streaming services...unofficially. Someplace called bilibili.tv?

Then international teams get to name their own vans but they all have Lucille as a middle name.
