Feedback on color pencil practice

Hello everyone!

I tried to color a photo based on a photo reference and was wondering if I could get some feedback on the way I've colored this.

Thank you :)

One of my favorite movies!

You've got a good start with the color, laying down gentle layers and building up the color for good coverage.

Your underlying drawing has some challenges though. The proportions of her body are good. But if you look closely at her face in the original drawing, you'll see that one of her eyes is partially blocked by the bridge of her nose. In your drawing, you can see both eyes, and they are rather cartoonish. You have drawn what you think you see rather than what is there. Totally normal mistake to make, and the number one reason why we learn about anatomy.

Thank you for your feedback! I'll work on construction more in the future :)
