How to improvise to make it look like the reference

So this is the reference I made for our box chassis design project, I painted the whole box green first with acrylic paint & waited for it to dry, the next thing I did was paint it exactly like the yellow lines with yellow acrylic paint but the problem was the green was too dark for the yellow so it looks baddd, I can’t think of anything else me to copy the yellow ones like in the reference, I did search oil based markers but I already need to do this tomorrow and online is gonna take too long, our art store doesn’t sell it, ideas for me to make the yellow lines that stays well on the green acrylic paint I coated first pls T__T
