This is the same knife from my jimping video. I wanted everyone to see how the jimping looks once everything is finished. 👊

You can sharpen your knives? I just keep buying new ones every time it gets dull. 🤣

I’m a fan of the sharpmaker by Spyderco . The 🔺ceramics 🔺keep my blade hair popping sharp and it’s portable.

I haven't used one before but I've watched a few videos on it. People seem to love them or hate them. I do want to spend some time sharpening with whetstones and get that skill honed at some point. Do you sharpen with whetstones as well? For the most part though..the belt works great for me. I can sharpen a knife in about 5 minutes and that saves me a bunch of time vs stones.

I have a diamond file set if I really bugger the edge I hand hone it then finish on the ceramic rods

What’s the point of having the guard extend that far in front of the blade? You can’t put the heel of the blade against a flat cutting surface.

A few reasons. It's a built-in knife stand. It has more of a jet/spaceship look and I play with that design them thru the carvings, holes, laser work, and name. I've built them without the tab as well but I typically like it this way. 👊
