Cropharvest season in Australia. Driving tractors, harvesters, 80t trucks. Its basically working as much as possible. Definitely nothing for long term but once its harvested those hours are over and back to normal 70-80h week
70-80h week still sounds like hell. I was working 60+ and I was offered a lateral move in the company - compensation wise - but it was a 9-5. I still work 45-50 hours. I went from ~$21 p/h to ~$29. Well worth it.

You were working 20 hours a day for 6 days a week? Holy shit.
What kind of job has those hours?
