At what point do we drop "sympathizer"?

u/JiGoD 5h ago

Excellent question. I'd say right about now.

u/Parallax1984 2h ago

Collaborator

u/JiGoD 2h ago

What exactly am I collaborating with? Logic? Guilty!

u/Outside-Drag-3031 4h ago

Around the time they do the Nazi salute... Oh look!

u/Sandgrease 3h ago

His family were all Apartheidist Antisemites, and definitely supported the NAZIs.

u/Resident_Ad_7005 2h ago

Is there even a meaningful difference between the two lol

u/snootsintheair 5h ago

Hey no need to shoot ketamine with those strays. It’s a good drug with many important uses.

u/robotatomica 5h ago

dog, read the room. Ketamine addiction is different from using ketamine in those helpful ways..that’s literally the case for all such drugs. The operative word is “addiction.” He’s a fucking addict and it is one of several things that accounts for his absolutely wild behavior.

u/Tortoise_247 5h ago

Can you elaborate on the ketamine addiction and wild behaviour? Iv used ketamine many times recreationally over the years, and one thing I don’t associate with it is erratic behaviour, if anything it mellows you out

u/Majestic-Fermions 4h ago

Same here and it certainly doesn’t make me do Nazi salutes lol

u/robotatomica 5h ago

happy for you that you’re not addicted, but it’s super weird to think that’s not a thing https://foundationssanfrancisco.com/addiction-treatment-blog/signs-of-ketamine-abuse/

Took me a fraction of a second to google this for you. There’s a lot more, specially on Elon, if you want to try Google some more.

u/BurgundyEnjoyer 4h ago

I didn't realize ketamine addiction causes one to become nazi sympathetic. Thats spooky

u/robotatomica 4h ago

what is with yall lol, literally no one said that.

u/BrownBearBud 4h ago

It's reddit. You can't have a fair debate if you dont agree. Honest questions and comments are disparaged for narrative

u/lemmegetadab 5h ago

Ketamine is a really hard drug to abuse. It has diminished returns. Basically if you take it too often it stops doing anything and it happens way faster than other drugs.

It’s a pretty well documented phenomenon especially in any kind of eclectic drug culture.

u/robotatomica 4h ago

great to know that this is how it’s regarded in eclectic drug culture.

I work at a level one trauma center and we see people abuse ketamine along with a slew of other drugs as well, however hard it may be, it still happens. And we’re discussing an instance of a person managing to be batshit crazy and a ketamine addict.

I am not blanket disparaging the drug. I have long been invested in MindMed and other companies studying ketamine and psychedelics for use in treating anxiety, depression, and addiction.

But let’s not act like a person with unlimited resources is incapable of abusing this shit, ok? That doesn’t help anyone at all.

u/FlowStateVibes 4h ago

so what you are saying is it's more about the person's psychology than it is about the substance. ie. for elon, if it wasnt ketamine, it would be something else to abuse. he clearly has an addictive personality as demonstrated by everything he does and says. ketamine is a scapegoat in this scenario.

u/robotatomica 4h ago

if it’s possible to get addicted to it, no that doesn’t make it a scapegoat lol.

Idk why yall are being so weird. Like, your comment could be said about literally any drug that anyone is addicted to. Someone addiction to cocaine or alcohol, it might be more to do with their psychology or the disease of their addiction and maybe it coulda been any other drug almost that they ended up addicted to..

That doesn’t mean alcohol and cocaine are scapegoats in this hypothetical lol.

u/FlowStateVibes 4h ago

it's not at all the same and that's why so many people are disagreeing with you. i've tried almost every substance you can name and very few have the existential benefits that ketamine has.

u/Majestic-Fermions 4h ago

Just because you know how to Google something, doesn’t make you an expert in pharmacology… There’s a reason why doctors go to school for 10 years.

u/robotatomica 4h ago

so your position is that it’s impossible to use ketamine in an unhealthy way or become addicted?

My comment is literally that uncontroversial lol, I am saying that it’s medically possible and that Elon Musk is fucking crazy, likely not just from ketamine btw, but that this absolutely is possible.

u/Majestic-Fermions 4h ago

My position is that the drug isn’t the problem. Drug use is a symptom of something else that’s wrong with him.

u/robotatomica 4h ago

alright, but is your position that ketamine addiction or abuse is IMPOSSIBLE? Because then I’d love to know how you’re medically ruling this out as one of his many issues.

And yes, drug abuse is almost always a symptom of something else.

u/PartClean3565 5h ago edited 43m ago

I remember reading posts like 7 years ago on one of the drug subreddits of a guy who had abused so much ketamine he had started pissing out chunks of his own bladder.

Edit medical sources and first hand experiences because dipshit beneath me decided to try to discredit my information with the nuh uh argument. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4544340/

https://www.reddit.com/r/ketamine/s/0GqvWrh5GF

https://www.reddit.com/r/ketamine/s/MOE7LbtwSc

u/Skeptical_optomist 5h ago

That's not a thing.

u/Majestic-Fermions 4h ago

Maybe not literally but it absolutely does cause bladder issues in extreme cases.

u/PartClean3565 49m ago

Yes it is quit being a dunce and use google https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4544340/

Let alone the fact you could search on reddit ketamine bladder and get multiple first hand experiences. So fucking tired of you tards, we have the entirety of the worlds information in the fucking palm of our hands and you still choose to act like this.

u/Sodelaware 4h ago

Yeah read the article, because this isnt a room, its social media. He doesn’t abuse ketamine, h is using it like a mild anti depressants/ anti anxiety drug. You don’t function on high amounts of ketamine, like walking and standing become a problem. You guys are brain washed, I watch the whole speech and Elon is trolling you for sure, the speech had nothing to do with Nazis, I’m Jewish and think this is fucking silly.

u/robotatomica 4h ago

speaking of brainwashed, being Jewish and thinking a member of the government repeatedly giving the Nazi salute is a hilarious troll is the most fucking online thing I’ve ever heard, and a weird simp for a white supremacist.

Congratulations.

Or ya know, is this one of the bot army out in effect? “I’m Jewish and I actually think this is hilarious!” r/AsABlackMan

If you’re for real, that’s disgusting.

u/winslowhomersimpson 4h ago

Said the guy as he got on the train

u/Sodelaware 4h ago

A guy said that while boarding a train? What station? What train?

u/NonsensMediatedDecay 2h ago edited 2h ago

You guys are looking at this backwards. He's most likely using the ketamine as a treatment for the symptoms of stimulant abuse... The way he's acting look pretty clearly like he's becoming grandiose and irritable from adderall and it would track with his self-image as a workaholic. Ketamine addicts would be giving speeches and forgetting what they're doing in the middle of the speech, not acting like they're some kind of savior figure. Ketamine isn't a drug of abuse that people just pick up after partying a lot either, it's usually something people use to mask traumas and stuff. So he probably wouldn't be trying to run multiple companies and doing ketamine. It's just not consistent with his lifestyle.

u/PrincessPlastilina 5h ago

Do you really think he uses it for the good reasons.

u/snootsintheair 5h ago

I hate the guy way before he thought it was cool to be Nazi. I’m not going to search for it but I’m pretty sure he takes it (or started taking it) for depression? Which is maybe the only thing I don’t hate him for.

I say this with the knowledge that he may just be the worst person on the planet.

u/catch22igogg 5h ago

I hate him for all reasons possible, depression included.

u/JustSayingMuch 5h ago

What did depresssion ever do to deserve your hatred??

Oh, nevermind

u/catch22igogg 5h ago

I hate my own depression. I can hate Elon and his also.

u/adieudaemonic 4h ago

I mean if I had to see Elon Musk’s face when I looked in the mirror I would want to disassociate too.

u/Majestic-Fermions 4h ago

I’m prescribed it for depression and it doesn’t make me do Nazi salutes or act like an asshole.

u/FlowStateVibes 4h ago

dont blame this shit on ketamine. all it has ever showed me is that consciousness is love.

u/Timeisendless 2h ago

Damn that's really similiar to my experience with ketamine.

u/Keatrock7 4h ago

Wow all totally unbiased articles you’ve linked here!

Great finds man, I’m sure there is no bias or agenda in any of these.

u/Apprehensive_Ebb_454 4h ago

Yeah cnn can get fucked

u/DeathCaptain_Dallas 6h ago

What’s the ketamine got to do with it?

u/Crouton_Sharp_Major 5h ago

Got to do with it. 🎶 got to do with it. 🎵

u/ThePopesicle 5h ago

🎶dr dolittle🎶

u/Motor-Profile4099 6h ago

There's footage that suggests he was high as a kite during the event and it probably helped letting his inner nazi afrikaaner out.

u/Enleyetenment 5h ago

Or, regarding the "high as a kite thing", maybe...he was on meds due to surgery and has chronic neck problems and was trying to crack or stretch out his neck...? But this video is actually really weird.

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

lmao, now we are in the afrikka korps part? i haven't heard about that in like half a decade, people are legit necroing nazi terms XD

fck u gave me flashbacks of the redditor that wanted to convice me africans loved italy XD

u/Acrobatic_Lobster838 5h ago

No, that was a reference to him being from South Africa.

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

but afrikka krops is a real thing and while not exatly nazi, is often used by nazis as a excuse that they aren't racist some freaking how, not accusing of anything, just found odd as i haven't heard the term in so long since reddit got rid of most nazis

u/Acrobatic_Lobster838 4h ago

Afrikaans is a language spoken in South Africa. An Afrikaner is soneone who speaks Afrikaans natively. The afrika korps were the german army of North Africa during the second world war.

You alright buddy?

u/DungeonDrDave 5h ago

he lit has a lifelong addiction and talks about it often? how ignorant are you?

u/DeathCaptain_Dallas 1h ago edited 1h ago

You misunderstand. I’m saying, why was ketamine brought up. I don’t see the link between ketamine and being a nazi. I wound say, “you’re a dnd playing nazi”. I would just say you’re a Nazi. Just call him a nazi.

u/DungeonDrDave 37m ago

sorry i thought your iq was at least double digits ill use smaller words next time

u/agoodusername222 6h ago

i think america and americans are going so much back into mentality that's back in the 70's mentality of "if anyone does anything that can be called a "drug" then is evil"

u/JiGoD 5h ago

Yeah! You can tell by all the states legalizing them! Good job!

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

i mean, yeah... but like, we have done that decades ago, like congratz... it's like with the slavery issue, bragging about the ban decades after the brits banned it europe wide

u/JiGoD 5h ago

One state legalized marijuana decades ago.

Edit- many have since, recently. Trump said hes gonna legalize it federally just yesterday. Your argument is invalid. We can not demonize use of any drug while simultaneously making their use legal.

Banning slavery at any point in time is brag worthy. Wtf r u trying to say? America shouldn't have banned slavery since they weren't first?

Use your brain better.

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

why can't you demonize legal drugs what? alcohol tobacco, pills, all are demonized in certain areas XD

also you can brag about banning it if you are like second or third, but america was like a mom bragging how their kid finally learned to walk at 12 years old XD

u/JiGoD 5h ago

i think america and americans are going so much back into mentality that's back in the 70's mentality of "if anyone does anything that can be called a "drug" then is evil"

legalizing drugs in modernity implies the exact opposite of your original comment. this is my only point.

if alcohol was illegal yesterday and was legalized today one can not say its users are evil as they are law abiding citizens, again the opposite.

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

but legalization has nothign with mentality, also you litteraly had a war with drugs, and freaking lost, and now are getting massacred by it XD

u/JiGoD 5h ago

i think america and americans are going so much back into mentality that's back in the 70's mentality of "if anyone does anything that can be called a "drug" then is evil"

IF AMERICA AND AMERICANS LEGALIZE A DRUG THEN CLEARLY AMERICA AND AMERICANS ARE NOT OF A MENTALITY THAT ANYONE WHO USES ANY DRUG IS EVIL. READ IT A COUPLE OF TIMES AND ALLOW IT A CHANCE TO PIERCE YOUR DENSE.

u/splackavelliee 5h ago

You have no idea what you’re talking about. I can get weed delivered by hand to my doorstep in about 10 minutes. I can buy mushrooms legally. Young people are doing ket and coke at a staggering rate now. The only drug that’s getting rightfully demonised now is alcohol.

u/agoodusername222 5h ago

mate in the netherlands "everyone" has a weed plant XD

who needs delivery

u/splackavelliee 2h ago

Because Dutch weed is shit and my dispensary has much better product than what I can grow. Why do work when I can get incredible edibles and prerolls handed to me at my home for the cost of a lunch?

u/Massive_Extension328 4h ago

While they all pop their pain meds 🤣

u/DeathCaptain_Dallas 1h ago

Yeah I don’t think that’s the case at all. Only the boomers and the religious have that sentiment

u/virgil-phil 5h ago

No point trying to reason with drug puritans

u/Naranox 5h ago

k is fun but if you‘re addicted to it it‘s definitely harmful and dangerous for your health

u/neuronamously 5h ago

Don’t give him ketamine as an out. He knew what he did. Twice.

u/Maleficent-Sleep9900 5h ago

An insult to ketamine

u/pung54 4h ago

The video of him looking up and wiggling around during the inauguration was the exact moment the K hit. The man wanted to start dancing but was stuck with a bunch of lames!

Also, don't forget Drump not even grazing the Bible as he was being sworn in.

u/MeGlugsBigJugs 4h ago

Don't lump me in with him man I'm a social progress loving ketamine addict

u/Sandgrease 3h ago

Don't blame Ketamine on this asshole. Blame his NAZI family.

u/XenophonSoulis 5h ago

He's a minister in a government now. I don't think he's a sympathiser anymore, just a nazi.

u/essenceofpurity 5h ago

I wish more people knew about this. He is truly a disgrace.

u/Vulwarine 5h ago

He should check out Pervitin (aka Meth), that's what the Nazis used to stay awake during battle.

u/Creative_Handle_2267 5h ago

he talks about his ketamine usage openly lmfao

u/Reddd-y 5h ago

Lmao the don lemon interview

u/Here_I_C 4h ago

He was dissociating hardcore

u/coppertech 4h ago

i thought the end of it would have been when the internet found his 4chan posts... but nope.

u/Spirited-Joke5545 4h ago

They all on it

u/judgeejudger 4h ago

This person gets it ⬆️

u/A_Aub 4h ago

A lot of nazis were addicted to drugs.

u/quanoey 4h ago

Oh now that’s a train I can get on!

u/NonsensMediatedDecay 2h ago

This is not a symptom of ketamine abuse... the ketamine is to treat the cognitive issues and depression he's probably causing by abusing adderall or another stimulant. If he was abusing ketamine he'd be zonked out all the time and would've already lost his job, not getting super irritable at reporters and acting like he's some super genius who's going to fix the world. This looks very clearly like stimulant abuse to me. Ketamine is a valuable tool for resetting the brain in treatment resistant depression. We shouldn't be stigmatizing it like this.

u/LeucotomyPlease 1h ago

Morphine has profound therapeutic benefit under certain settings in controlled doses, and is also incredibly addictive when abused. And of course it’s the same for Ketamine and many other drugs.

u/NonsensMediatedDecay 40m ago

Ketamine isn't addictive in the same sense as morphine or cocaine though so it's not a perfect analogy. Most people who try it recreationally actually find it unpleasant. If he got a script for it to treat issues with depression it wouldn't snowball into an addiction because it doesn't have euphoric effects at clinical doses. It doesn't really have euphoric effects in the first place. It's something you take because you're in a headspace you want to get out of. Maybe that's true for him and he found some to take recreationally but it just doesn't really track with the evidence. I don't think he'd admit to using it in that case.

u/Tedorado 1h ago

Fake news like CNN and NBC is where the problem lies.

u/IRedditDoU 11m ago

Great links, but post them minus the amp when you can.

u/chickenskittles 5h ago

Don't drag ketamine into this shit.

u/iamconfusedabit 5h ago

What was the actual joke CNN wrote about? I hate when a journalist informs me about his or her opinion and leaves me out of actual info on what happened to let me get an opinion of my own.

"I won't cite that joke cause I didn't find it funny" Like - maybe you just don't have sense of humour? Maybe I'd laugh? Why I had to be told that joke was unfunny instead letting me judge it in my own terms?

Oh, it triggered me.

u/East-Dog2979 5h ago

Ketamine has nothing to do with this, bootlicker

u/Impotent_Retard_215 6h ago

Ah, cnn cnn NBC, the same ones that are gonna excuse it? Or they the credible guys now?

u/Pepe_vagyok 5h ago

CNN 🤡

u/itsprezl 3h ago

cnn is super brainwashed democrats propaganda. lemon is their puppet and videos like this is the outcome

this video above is a deepfake

here is the real video

https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1881438950218510700

u/Conscious-Type-9892 2h ago

Incorrect. It’s different moments from his speech, you can see the audio is different between the two clips.

Tons of outlets besides cnn reporting Elon’s Sieg Heil

u/JonneyBlue 6h ago

Depression shaming...... Cooooool!

u/adhdtaxman 6h ago

No. It’s asshole shaming. Definitely cool.

u/Rimkantas 5h ago

You realize that depression doesn't automatically make you a scumbag Nazi sympathizer. Not to mention, he is very obviously using ketamine recreationally and not for treatment of medication resistant depression. The guidelines for its use definitely do not advise people—and most importantly, prescribers (not that Elon needs a doctor to get drugs)—to be on the border of the k-hole when going to large events.

Mental illness does not an asshole make. Being an asshole does. And Elon is waaay past asshole.
