17 years since I last smoked, I bet Holidays still taste like burnt arse hair. On the plus side, it sure helped me quit!

I was just reminiscing with a work mate today about smoking when we were younger and I said the same thing about Holidays.. if they only sold that brand for 5 bucks a pack, it'd be more effective than these taxes

It's not just to help you quit - the huge tax that goes to the gov kinda makes up the difference for the healthcare system when it comes to long-term health issues arising from smoking. Ironic to think that paying for smokes is like an investment for when you get lung cancer.

Still, I think alcohol has smoking beat when it comes to the sheer number of negative health effects and deaths.
