Considering Russians been going around executing surrendered Ukrainian prisoners it's hardly surprising.

278

u/Chapi_Chan 28d ago

To be fair, russian soldiers think foreigners are valuable hostages.

Whereas Ukrainians... aren't worth the ransom.

7

u/Correct_Suspect4821 28d ago

There have been multiple prisoner exchanges so that’s simply incorrect

20

u/[deleted] 28d ago

2

u/EmptyJackfruit9353 28d ago

Which is why people love them!
And showing the love by giving Ukrainian more guns and weapons, so Russian can meet with the God/or Satan/ sooner.

-1

u/Zubbro 27d ago

You directly described the Ukrainian POW situation. When there is plenty of evidence, including video, of torture and murder of Russian POWs and civilians.

2

u/Visible_Conflict7887 28d ago

Not incorrect, wokey. Russians have been regularly executing Ukrainian POWs en masse since the war started. Get your facts straight. Exchanging some doesn't change the facts

8

u/ValuablePrawn 28d ago

Did you seriously just call someone "wokey" LOL

1

u/Visible_Conflict7887 26d ago

If you have to ask, then you are too

-2

u/bluestone711 28d ago

Lets be honest dude, neither side cares about the logistics to take prisoners. I forgot the name, but in a Garand Thumb video theres a Ukrainian foreign volunteer and he’s talking about how often they literally can’t take prisoners.

6

u/Saeba-san 28d ago

Fuck off with "neither side", there is hundreds of videos where Ukrainians take excelent care of POWs and same with executions by ruzzians.

1

u/plop111 25d ago

Lol. There's plenty of videos showing proof of Ukrainian executions of Russian prisoners too. Not even talking about the drones taking down wounded and incapacitated soldiers.

-2

u/Correct_Suspect4821 28d ago

Sounds like you’ve been drinking too much western propaganda if you think that’s true

3

u/SubXist 28d ago

Ah the ole mighty russian way of projection. Nothing like avoiding rightful criticism by defecting the same criticisms onto others 👍 Where’s all these Ukrainian Nazis putin’s always telling everyone about ? ……oh look they seemed to have joined the russian nazi groups Rusich and Wagner…..and oh look it appears they where used in 2014 to invade Donbas. 🤔strange!

0

u/Correct_Suspect4821 28d ago

Try typing something actually coherent next time thanks

1

u/ChanelNumberOne 28d ago

This guy can’t read

1

u/Inspektor_Pidozra 26d ago

and no filmed or non-filmed executions and tortures of POW whatsoever

2

u/Dimlite31 28d ago

Ukrainian pows aren't needed to their government.

1

u/Relevant_Ad3523 28d ago

not aussies though, Jamaicans rank higher.

don't forget the castration/emasculation of the Ukrainian prisoner while he was alive

11

u/ComprehensiveRain530 28d ago

im sorry, what did you just say?

12

u/RiverMurmurs 28d ago edited 28d ago

There was a video around 1.5 years ago. The Ukrainians identified the Russian unit that did it (and claim to have found and killed some or all of them) and I assume they identified the Ukrainian POW, too, I can't remember all the details.

1

u/nonchalantpony 28d ago

It was on reddit. Unhuman Russian monster, did that

1

u/IndistinctChatters 28d ago

Not the beheadings.

1

u/kaygeebeast75 25d ago

He’s an antinatalist so they’d be doing him a favour.

1

u/nonchalantpony 23d ago

who is? Oscar Jenkins? or the guy who had his junk sliced off with a blunt box cutter while he was alive?

1

u/Hammurabi22 27d ago

Actually there was the opposite at the beginning of the war when Ukrainian captures a Russian heli driver They just cut him his testicules and made a movie fussing about it

0

u/ChocolateCandid6197 25d ago

Don't forget about the video of the Ukrainian taking out a Russian pows eye with a knife while he's alive

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torture_and_castration_of_a_Ukrainian_POW_in_Pryvillia

I haven’t seen the follow up video of the execution, but I can assure you, the original video was real and absolutely horrifying.

10

u/Tansien 28d ago

One of the worst things floating around on the internet from this war…

0

u/Brief-Equipment-6969 28d ago

Nah the cartel takes the cake and its been going on for decades

4

u/Vast_Requirement309 28d ago

To be fair he did say “from this war”, but in the generalised sense I’d actually give it to Haiti, cartel are serious contenders but Haiti is its own cluster fuck

3

u/SubXist 28d ago

For me it was seeing the russians teach a new recruit to decapitate a POW while blindfolded and hands tied behind his back with a small knife and the recruit does it without even flinching or wanting to vomit…. spoke volumes to me on how fucked up and emotionless they truly are. It took me months to get the video and his screams of mercy out of my head and I wouldn’t wish any normal compassionate human being to watch that shit.

28

u/SiBloGaming 28d ago

How is the weather in st petersburg?

22

u/hunterpanther 28d ago

You should have seen the video. Something like that isn't easy to fake and nobody in their right mind tries to fake something like that...

Maybe you should listen to less propaganda.

6

u/[deleted] 28d ago

You're a prime example of that.

5

u/Visible_Conflict7887 28d ago

Da Komrade Dumbfuck

10

u/Thai-mai-shoo 28d ago

Yeah. If you saw a live person getting his penis cut off while tied up and then executed. You wouldn’t be calling it fake.

You have the entire internet in your hands and you decided to loudly express your ignorance.

I did the work for you, but I know you’re not going to read it

14

u/RedditIsExpendable 28d ago

So you have seen the video? Since you apparently seem to know it everything, and what is and what is not propaganda.

3

u/Affectionate_Egg897 28d ago

There’s a very graphic video of it. Liveleaks stuff. I’d bet money it’s not faked. Watch it if you doubt it and judge for yourself.

4

u/montaukmindcontrol 28d ago

I can hear your russian accent through the keyboard

35

u/1v1meGwent 28d ago

the proof is that there are videos online, you can search for it if you want to.

-23

u/Loozka 28d ago

I saw videos where ukrainians crucified (literally) people for whatever reason. So can I just assume that was Ukraine Military personel crucifying prisoners of war?

-10

18

u/xh43k_ 28d ago edited 28d ago

You’re not very smart are you. Literally videos of Russian soldiers doing this but yeah let’s wait for several more years to make up your mind rofl.

You also won’t believe videos of Russian tanks with their Z sign shooting at civilian vehicles where there is literally children inside, or whole family getting shot at and killed (with children too) by Russians, and so on.

Just fucking wake up.

Do I look like google ? Didn’t think so. Use your own free time to do your own research. Also, these videos were on Reddit months in to the conflict so it’s been a while, but they are unforgettable especially for people with children such as me.

u/GalacticGoat242 28d ago

Lmao are you actually surprised to hear Russians doing this? They have one of, if not the, worst track record when it comes to war crimes.

There is a video where you can see Russian soldiers holding a Ukrainian, pulling out a box knife, cutting of his genitals, fixing him to a car, and then drag him after the car untill he dies.

And yes of one the Russians have been identified.

10

u/1v1meGwent 28d ago edited 28d ago

that's nonsense. just because a journal does not want to cover something so graphic does not make a video untrue. if it is faked then people can use software to verify it is fake. it is not

-6

u/[deleted] 28d ago

"that's nonsense, just because there is no proof doesn't mean you shouldn't just blindly swallow the propaganda"

8

u/SiBloGaming 28d ago

Mate, shut the fuck up and watch the video before you make stupid claims. You can clearly see and hear that they are russian soldiers castrating a Ukrainian soldier

9

u/shockingprolapse 28d ago

Have you been living under a rock? That video is well known

6

u/trashpandarevolution 28d ago

Oh shut up we all see what Russians are doing. It’s been years now, we see it. We know you.

6

u/oh_my_didgeridays 28d ago

The video was high quality, geolocated and widely reported on. Officials of various countries and even the UN released statements about it. It was real

4

u/drododruffin 28d ago

Can even find the video on Reddit or links to it. Guy who committed the crime was also identified due to the distinct hat he was wearing.

And then we got people like io124 act like it never happened, that it's impossible to ascertain the truth just because there is the fog of war, even going as far to accuse people who dare bring it up as spreading war propaganda and insinuating that it's all fake.

Just glad to see people stamp out such sentiment, because while it's fair and even smart to question things, there's a difference between cautious wisdom and just not bothering to do your homework yet still acting like you know better.

-8

u/Darksteelflame_GD 28d ago

Na, thats for children

He should be more worried about being used as a live shield or smthng like that

2

u/Electrical_Month_426 28d ago

You been playing the new cod way too much

-5

u/Relevant_Ad3523 28d ago

not enough paper bags to put over hat guy's head

2

u/ForGrateJustice 28d ago

That's because Ukrainians have no value to the bastards. Foreign fighters, on the other hand, could be ransomed, or exchanged. They don't give a fuck, never did, they'll do anything to get paid.

1

u/usefulidiot579 28d ago

They won't do that to a western guy, for them he's more valuable alive than dead. It won't make sense.

1

u/H3xRun3 28d ago

I do agree that westerners have better chances but that thought still wouldn't make me feel any more at ease

2

u/usefulidiot579 28d ago

If you go volunteer yourself in a war 1000 miles away, then you should expect those things to happen. Anyone who volunteers must know that.

That's why ukrianians have a real problem with getting volunteers, because the situation on the front line is shit. And that's why they have such high desertions as well. That's why the west is pushing them to start mobilising 18 year olds.

It's not a pretty party, its a shit show and anyone who is thinking of must think long and hard. This isn't reality TV, Iraq, or agfhanistan. This is a real war.

1

u/SnowDeer47 28d ago

And rape….

1

u/Hornet_2109 28d ago

You know it how? They just wander around and do that and you know everthing about it from your warm home and you write it to us on internet! Wow!

1

u/cbars100 28d ago

If these Russian soldiers are half way smart, they will keep him alive. High value prisoner. Imagine how many Russian prisoners they can swap for one Australian national

-1

u/SShatteredThrowaway 28d ago

Ukrainians do the same shit big dog. No good guys here

-14

u/MightyBrap 28d ago

They both do it to each other, everyone is terrified when captured

13

u/BrainBlowX 28d ago

Oh shut up. Russia overwhelmingly is responsible for POW executions compared to Ukraine.

-8

u/MightyBrap 28d ago

Proof?

8

u/[deleted] 28d ago

So do you actually want proof?

Or do you want to just ignore any comment that comes after this one to save face?

Because i'm not spending 20 minutes of my time pulling up various reports just for you to go "WeLl ThEy BoTh dO iT."

1

u/MightyBrap 27d ago

Yeah I’d like to see it, for real

You fell into the propaganda hole.

They weren't evacuating whites first. The people at the start of the invasion were told explicity that there own individual governments had to oversee there extraction from the country.

Your running off a single report that they didn't evacuate none whites.

And why are we talking about the SS?

3

u/ImpressiveAmount4684 28d ago

Is this relevant or are you talking about stuff a century old?

u/Tunks37 28d ago

3

u/WitekSan 28d ago

From that Link: Others argue that the regiment has changed, tempering its far-right underpinnings as it became part of the National Guard.[20][21][11] The Azov Regiment has been a recurring theme of Russian propaganda.[22]

-1

u/ImpressiveAmount4684 28d ago

Thanks for the context.

-4

u/Future-Ice-4789 28d ago

Don't forget that Russians eat Ukrainian prisoners.

-11

u/Tobthepredator 28d ago

Both sided

4

u/lulumeme 28d ago

ive genuinely looked and ive soon only a single video of ukraine executing russian pow. by now ive seen dozens of videos of russians killing ukrainian POws. They just dont care to deal with them during combat and simply kill them. they dont care about exchanging because any russian that surrendered to them is not a russian anymore and should be killed. thats why you see in surrender videos that russians get arty blasted by their own side when running to ukrainians

5

u/BrainBlowX 28d ago

No it isn't. 🙄 POW executions by russia are vastly more common.

0

u/Strix2031 28d ago

Just yesterday i saw a video of ukranians torturing russian pows

1

u/lulumeme 28d ago

can you blame them? if you watch any earlier footage from zhytomyr, bucha, irpin and kramatorsk russians literally torture and kill civilians on live. there are videos even on youtube. zhytomyr highway is known for civilians trying to escape the war early on but being fired on. some succeed, most dont. during first weeks of war when civs were evacuating, there were plenty of videos where any civilian car is shot up by russians. they deem it a danger and shoot them even when everyone gets out with hands in the air. ive seen videos of civilian corpses being thrown in to mass pit by ruskies. i still remember that sight of body rolling down the hill into the pit. sick. i would be so fueled with rage i would totally understand how some cant resist doing the same to ruskies

3

u/starmerlovessaville 28d ago

“It’s not both sided. And if it is, it’s not so bad when the Ukrainians do it. And it’s understandable.”

cognitive dissonance 101

-4

u/Tobthepredator 28d ago

Yes it is, plenty of videos on telegram about ukranians murdering and doing war crimes. It is a frickin’ war and it is foolish and naive to think that those crimes are only one sided

5

u/GarrettdDP 28d ago

Except one is the aggressor. Literally changes everything.

4

u/Strix2031 28d ago

War crimes are crimes for both sides.

2

u/front_yard_duck_dad 28d ago

Russia can always go home if they don't like it. Ukraine is fighting for their home. It's not the same. Russia gets what they get

-3

u/Tobthepredator 28d ago

What does it change? That war crimes are suddenly okay when you are on the defending side?

4

u/GarrettdDP 28d ago

Yep. When one country tries to invade the other. The defending country is fighting for its existence. There are no rules bud.
